DayZ.st is the way to go. Like any host they have problems but they are straight up with you about them. That crap from HFB about it being an Arma issue is a total line. The DayZ.st support and the community support on their IRC is top notch. I no longer use DayZ.st ONLY because I went to a dedicated server setup. I will be going back when the SA comes out should the Dev team decide to use DayZ.st as a host for it. DayZ.st will always have my beans!

No worries. We have thought a lot about third person on that server but decided against it for now for the immersion aspect. Keep the info just in case things change :)

I know you guys are looking for an EU server, but i thought I'd throw one of our servers your way. Just in case you are interested. We recently just started a Mercenary Server. No crazy starting gear. No third person. No death/Kill messages, no crosshairs. The only things that have been added is a full moon, and weapon crates that spawn random like choppers but there are only a few of them. Also, we put minimal vehicles on the map. Max Ping is set to 250 so you shouldn't have a problem playing there. It is meant for the survivalist to test what they have learned in DayZ on a more "hardcore" playing field. If you guys are interested, check it out. Search for ^EIN^ on commander or in game browser. Here is the IP for direct connect. 173.193.48.137:3051 It is a fresh server that just started. We are looking to grow this one with some good solid players.

Only way to do static dates is through the HiveExt.ini. It over rides the pbo settings. Ersan is working on either giving us access to HiveExt.ini or allowing small modifications via Cpanel. We just have to wait. :)

Looks like maintenance time? Seems my server is off and start buttons grayed out. Bliss Update? Anyone else?

Bummer. Most I have pulled off is 3. Haven't tried anymore after that. Rolls are more fun :)

Updated Info. Moved to Celle since the new Taviana didn't work out.

We have moved over to Celle 1.7.4.4 with a new IP/Port. Looking forward to playing with you guys.

Yes that is one way to do it. I just think an option in the CPanel would be easier to use for everyone.

Service is great guys! Keep it up. One suggestion: Ability to download latest backup file to keep locally. Then add an option to restore a backup from file. This way we can switch maps and keep the latest backup of previous maps, players, gear etc. past the 48 hour deletion time of current backups. Thanks!
