I think they are either getting new zeds and vehicles done before alpha. God knows i would have. either that or they are shifting over to arma 3.

Dayz standalone = Dayz for arma 3 :)

I just went back to test some dayz (arma2) and they had added the possibility to smash zeds with axes and crowbars etc.. The aiming and functionality with it was so horrific.. I deeply hope that it wont be as shit in the standalone.

I am starting to think they scrapped the idea they had and started to add dayz to arma 3 instead, that would be so much smarter by bohemia than a standalone. We will soon find out i guess.

I just think everyone needs to realize that this "new" game wont be so amazing as they think and that they need to respect that its an alpha with the content they throw in. It wont be much and it wont be the next big thing. Its going to be Dayz as we know it. same map with some new looks, some new textures and features. In my mind i cant understand why they would want to release an alpha for any other reason besides getting some money for their team. The big question is, will it bite them in the behind or will they actually surprise us? I know my answer to that question!

They are not releasing. They are letting people have pre access. Huge fucking difference. Zeds or not its still alpha. I really wish people would stop thinking this is some sort of redone supergame that will be awesome. It will be shit and get better just as the mod was, live with it.

OMG OMG its getting released soon..... or soonish.. or eventually soon, later this year, in a few weeks, in the near future.. I dunno :)
