I have currently removed the password so let's see what happens. But going forward I am interested in finding someone to help run/head-admin the server. A bit of a description, I love in-game interaction and immersion in the organic moments of video games; I don't mind mods but don't like when it's a giant laundry list of them, in the same vein I don't like making people fill out essays or follow a thousand rules.

I have always loved the interaction in DayZ more than just blasting, I don't want essays to join or 5 pages of rules. Play it like a paintball game, if you are in earshot then talk or call the surrender rule (some stipulations may be needed). What are some must have mods to add to the immersion and role-playing experience?

As the title says is it possible to add NPCs. I use to play a lot of arms 3 and we would mod zombies in. Now I want to go the reverse, i want to mod so soldiers into dayz. Is this possible?

I have a dedicated machine I wish to run a arma 2 dayz server on. The problem is I have no idea how to set it up. So if someone is interested it helping me set this up I would allow you to become an admin, or ill just pay your for your service.

On my dedicated I can create a arma2 oa server, and it runs all fine, is there a guide on adding the files and editing the config to make it run the dayz files?

Hello my name is Nick and I'm one of the co-owners of Zero-fps.com and I'm starting a DayZ server. Right now there's now much to offer on the server but with time and some help, I want it to be a fun and entertaining server that people want to come back to. Some of the things I plan to do is provide random events and contests, bounty systems, custom loadouts for players, and give away's. But currently I lack the time to find and learn the coding for arma. I have a private hive server and im wondering somethings. Can i turn respawning back on? Can i make it more like a wasteland day and night cycle like 2 hours day 1 hour night? I there anyway to tp or spawn gear, for event purposes? Also the server always seems to be "Waiting' when no one is on it, what may be causing that?

When i try to use the tool i just get cannot connect to server, is there something i need to do on the server side?

My server was offline for well over a week, also with no support. Also how tickets work is if you put one in and it gets into lets say 5th in the queue and if you "bump" it, it goes to the bottom of the list. Also keep in mind this is a new company with limited staff providing servers for a HUGELY popular game, so just be patient.

I am very impressed with HFB. Ryahn just jumped into my Teamspeak 3 server randomly and started explaining what was going on. The servers in Atlanta are down because of a complication between HFB and the data center. They are currently working to solve this issue. I know what other host providers support is like but i have never had a support staff personally come into my team speak and talk to me. So please be patient and it will all be fixed soon.

When I download the patch and launch it and install it, it says it installed fine, when I open arma 2 it still says im on the older patch. I even tried deleting the beta folder and it still doesnt update.

What is going on with HFB and Host Altitude there support is beyond slow right now, my friends and i have ordered a server from HA and its been like 3 days with only about 2 replies from the staff about our problems, and HFB has never replied in about a week. Any feedback to my situation?
