I'm impressed by a few things. Let me elaborate: 1. I read the first two sentences of your post and stopped. I then skimmed down to the bottom because it was way to long of a novel for me to hear another person bitchin' about the game. What caught my eye was that you said something about being too hard and maybe not the game for you and that you didn't mind the dying constantly and what not. I went back to the top and read your whole post and I enjoyed it B. All of the responses have been great from others. I was expecting a lot of "Fuck off", "Eat a bag of cocks", and the like. (It is kinda early tho so we won't hold our breaths.) 3. The only advice I can really give you besides the obvious Alpha is that you should try downloading the Mod and playing it for a bit. I think that is what you might be looking for as in terms of action and gameplay. If you bypassed the Mod strictly to buy and play the SA , then I guess that would be your choice. And D. I love the mod and all the great times I had on it, as well as all the shitty times and bugs. Those compare nothing to how SA is now. It is hard and frustrating, but I knew that coming in as did all of us. I have had great times so far and believe that everyone can enjoy the game. If it's not your cup of tea then that is good for you to find out early. I hope to hear more of your adventures if you stick with this or decide to play the Mod, if you haven't already. I can confirm that I got a sleep-induced half handjob from Wifey and I am off work today so I am patiently waiting for her to come home after work to smash, but I am contemplating doing it myself as well. I can also confirm that Balota didn't spawn the usual loot either late last night or this morning.

I just got off a server where for the past hour I met 2 friendly ass dudes who I rolled with for a bit....got knocked unconscious by some screaming kid, met back up with 2 dudes, got scared shitless by random spawns in the street and in houses, got separated and chased by an axe wielding fuck, made it to Elektro and ran into about 6 or 7 friendlies, and got my ass knocked out again by some weird fuckin guy. He ended up getting shoveled by one of the others. It was dark and hard to navigate and I lost my way more than once, but it was fun as shit. You should try it bud.

So....does this mean the Berry picking party is postponed?

Nice pic. Vehicles (mainly cars at least) bring a whole new survival and morality to the game. Imagine you are trying to get to point A from point B....you just need a ride. You see a vehicle driving and you shout for a ride. Either you get one, they drive past, or try and kill you. Let's say they drive past (90% of the time) and low and behold, you see the same car gassing up or looting a building or whatever situation. What do you do? A whole lot of options. Are you gonna continue to make your way on foot to your location or cut your time down by 80% and take advantage of the asshole(s) that denied you a seat. Vehicles are a must because they can drastically turn you from pacifist to Bandit to murderer in a heartbeat....well, at least me anyway.

I enjoy the night servers and it makes me yearn for flares. I really hope they are implemented into the SA because Lord knows i could use a few right now...

It is very hard to see and the fact is your life can be gone in a FLASH if you aren't prepared. I appreciate you boys trying to shed some LIGHT on the subject, but let's face it, it's not a big TURN ON right now.
