I really love how the game looks and was excited when I first got it. There are little issues such as vehicles and chat that I want to see implemented. I am not too hard to please so I just want an enjoyable experience without hacks and people telling me how the game should be or how we all should play it. I play this game because I love the concept, the uncertainty, and the good times I have with people I know and complete strangers. You never know what to expect from one encounter to the next. Your sig basically says it all. I am an avid Xbox Live player and I barely touch it anymore. There has been no other game that gives me the feeling that DayZ does...

I actually went back to the Mod as well after playing SA. I have seen a couple of hackers in my 3 months of gameplay on it. I love both and switch back and forth. Mod is still very active and I have a blast. Just depends on the type of person you are. I can find humor staring at a milk carton, so I am easily entertained. Have fun!

I have been playing the Mod a lot lately and remember playing on some really good servers that were strictly PVP without zombies. I can't find them now and I don't remember the names. If anyone knows of a few, could you give me some names or ip addresses? Thanks.

You'll find me in and around the highways and byways of Balota waiting patiently for animals to be implemented into the SA. Then you will find me roaming the Balota treelines in search of wolf pussy whilst wearing the skinned face of a Bandit I recently murdered...

I could agree with you on this and maybe I would if I had never been in the same situations both as hunter and hunted. I have got many, many lucky spawns after I've been killed and had the chance to maim my killers. Sometimes I have succeeded, sometimes I have not. I also have been in the gun fight situation where no matter how cool and collected you are, miscommunication happens and you have to move. I don't think I am some DayZ guru or expert, but I have been in many situations where it is my squad and I against one man or 8. Every scenario plays out different and one small mistake can be huge. Throw in getting booted from the gate from lost connection, server restart, etc. I am a risk taker and one thing I have noticed with the SA is that I know new spawns have nothing , so I never take them as a serious threat, especially when I see them running up from the coast. Not a good idea, but that's how I play. If OP did setup this video with his crew, then he did a great job fooling me and shame on him. If he didn't, which I believe, then this is the perfect example of why you should never let your guard down and that Karma is truly a bitch...

For me, that's what makes the game fun and interesting. There is no "Good" guy or "Bad" guy tags. The Mod had the Bandit and Hero skins to help you decipher, but even that became a guessing game. It's true survival and paranoia at it's finest. The best part of the game for me are these little moments of revenge. I bet those two you killed were mad as shit and got into a fight over whatever communication hub they were using. Good stuff. Being a nice guy is definitely the most dangerous thing to do in DayZ, but also the most rewarding. If you aren't up for that task, then either become a Bandit or a victim...

Nice...all we need is snow now and I will be a happy camper...happy camper.

Have you tried to download DayZ Commander? Much easier to add different mods such as Origins and others. That's what i use and it is about 3 or 4 easy steps. http://www.dayzcommander.com/ *Click on bottom left of page to download-Install DayZ Commander
