    Global bans... are they IP bans?

    Hello everybody. So in the past I have been global banned (and I know I don't have any evidence to prove my innocence) on my steam account and the question is very simple: If you get global banned is it an IP ban? so for example if I were to buy Arma II on a different steam account will it still be in effect because I would really like to not waste 25$ on another Arma II just to find out it is still banned. (Note: I have read plenty of forums to know that it is NOT dayz's fault and the people who DID ben me was Battleye.)
