Nice. I was thinking more. Hollow out the tree into a chest-type thing then store your weapons in there but that looks awesome if you'll ever see it.

This is gonna be in Standalone. And is loosely used in the Hero script.

How bout a map which is the size of the Highlands in Scotland. That'd be epic. that would be like 400km2 or more. That would be EPIC!

Great idea. However I much prefer to use the "Middle Finger" Animation Rocket's implemented to the sniper then running off.

Maybe for Epoch. I don't think for a time were the apocalypse has only just started and everyones looting wjats left. This wouldn't happen until the times of Epoch surely?

Is it? I haven't actually played Arma III. I heard the engine is the same used in Stand alone. And if that already exists than this post is pointless.

Great idea! However maybe for Epoch or Origins. Can't see this getting put into DayZ standalone any time soon. But maybe for one of the many mods for DayZ.

It would be cool that if your stuff was left for say 5 minutes unattended (or no human within 10m to drive off the zombies), the zombies would chew and wreck your stuff. Eat food, Chew backpacks. That kinda stuff. That would add to the realism. Especially with the fact that your stuff will get wrecked at some point. By zombies or just erosion. Y'know. Keep that drive to maybe need to maintain your gun and keep ammo out of water. And you will need to replace watches and maps after a while. That'd be a really cool function and would keep people heading to the cites to get supplies that they otherwise, can't get elsewhere. That'd be cool if it was ever added.

That would be good for servers to disable 3rd party software. But, it's just not gonna be possible. :\ -

I know right. That would be so much better, if all KOS motives were reduced. And they would pick up techniques like Robbery and Slavery. That would be so much better. KOS is still an option keeping in mind. And I respect that but it's far too overused. -

It all depends how much work goes into it and how much variation the servers can add for veterans and Bambi's alike. And to balance out the Hero and Bandit ratio. Kinda goes like this: Heroes- 7% Survivors-25% Bandits-68%. I just wish that would be different. ~Joegeddon -

I would rather that it took 3 years and was KICKASS. Than it take 3 weeks and it being horrible and glitchy. Don't know if you all, agree. -

Servers can disable the Spawn selection function. But DayZ is kinda a lot easier than it once was. If you want it to be go check out DayZ 2017. It's my favourite mod
