My team and I use the UAZ also. Really is an assets to our cause. Along with our chopper, we are freely able to restock/pick up allies and go along our business with out harm from bandits/strangers/zombies :-)

Well the idea was to leave him with tents and all types of weapons/food and drinks/meds and leave that character remote some where. Go into town to replanish stock and haul up somewhere else leaving our stockpile hidden. Then if we need new surplies we would drive/fly back to our hidden base. The second character would be their to protect our haul incase someone found it. Aussies for the win friend :D

Friend of mine was thinking of having a second character to "be the donkey" lol in other words just haul for the group.

I'll prob be flamed but oh well... when you join a server and lets say your at the NW airfield, the fire station is where you log in and there is no loot, just sit outside the door for 5/10 min and things will respawn. This works for any location.

I've wiped out a clan of bandits holding up nw airfield. 6 of them. Real nasty group, and I wanna give them credit for holding that place for 4 days straight, round the clock, even took out my mate. Well, after I spread word of my victory, alot of ppl on the server were happy to hear that they were taken out. Peeps started to head to the airfield only to arrive to their deaths... You see, I only just replaced the NW airfield with another type of evil... Zombie apocalypse is a nice excuse to kill human with out the police knocking at your front door

Apparently this issue has been addressed/dealt with. I still have it =( I have even installed Six Launcher and updated. Once its done waiting for character im stuck on the loading screen =(

Ive done that what you have posted... Thing is... I have issue with the game stuck on Loading... Now apperently the issue has been fixed but clearly not. 20mins later and im still Loading =( it's like this with any server I join =(

Arma II did work when I was doing single player but that was befoe I put DayZ... yet I havnt actually tried playing it once I have put the mod on... I have to try when I get home tonight...

Played the single player campaign for ARMA 2 and OA to understand how the controls work. The game ran smoothly

I have this problem too! I spawn and the world around me continue's its activities. I can only chat on group and this happens on all servers I join. That SEARCH function doesn't help. I think the devs are ignoring us =(

`I believe this lag everyone is experiencing isn't from our side but from the server it self.

Im actually using similar hardware to you blueparrot1966 except my problem is that when I eventually join the server, My character is frozen, I still have all my UI up but all my keys wont work such as movement ( prone, jump, etc..). All chat coms work though...

I just got the game today after all my guildies wouldnt stop talking about it on TS. Ive been having issues with a frozen character but everyone are having issues with the lag since the latest patch. Even when they play on the local servers they are experiencing lag spikes from the server
