Hyperthreading splits every core into 2 virtual cores. Turning it off let's the game utilize more of the core. (Game has single core rendering at the moment.) If you want better performance, turn it off.

Simply because AMD chips don't do single-core rendering that well.

The problem is, there's no mechanic for reloading double-mags. The game just sees it as 1 magazine with 60 rounds inside. I hope they add downsides to using larger mags (increased inventory size, feed problems, weight, etc).

Be grateful. Exp --> Stable updates usually take 3-4 weeks. This one took just a few dayz (like what I did there?). This is the devs' present to you guys.

Devs stated that the new .52 from experimental is being moved to Stable due to good feedback and it being our holiday present.

The fact that they are going to remove the Mosin's ability to use the LRS actually makes me happy. And before you go and say "haha only bcuz u git kiled bye snipars cuz u suk", keep in mind the Mosin doesn't have a Picatinny rail system. The LRS (by the look of the model) requires a Picatinny rail to be mounted. Now is about the time to give weapons their own specific stats and let them all have their Pros and Cons. Right now the SKS, AKM, and CZ527 all have the same stats. The Aug and M4A1 are literally the same weapon but with a different skin. -

I might be interested too. I did a little recording before, but slacked off. I'm more used to streaming on twitch. I checked back at one of my DayZ videos and it had near 1000 views, so it's tempting me to get back into it. Problem is I can barely find content to record. -
You can have 1 item on as many of your hotbar slots as you want. Just because it's on there more than once doesn't mean there's more than one of the actual item.

Well you would have no peripheral vision when looking through a scope IF you have your eye sealed to the lens. A BIG no-no when using a telescopic sight on a weapon of any sort. There's a 4 in or so spacing that should be between the lens and your eye called the Eye Relief. Example: With eye relief, you're able to see a small area around the outside of the lens that is not magnified, while still having a magnified center. Hence the PIP effect.

Nvidia SLI Not Working Since 0.50 Released, Anyone Else Having Issues?

SLI doesn't make a noticeable difference. The game bottlenecks the GPU right off the bat. Adding another card into the equation doesn't solve the problem. You recent FPS drop was probably due to them adding things and changing things in the update. Fairly common thing for Early Access Alpha titles. -
