Ahh, thanks for the correction. Mis-read the report initially.

Definite sarcasm, however, some explanation for you: DX11 is not coming immediately. It may be a few months, after the renderer is added, before we see DX11 implementation. At first we will have DX9 and, according to devs, we will only see a 40% increase in fps at first, and then more performance gains as kinks are worked out and new tech is added. As a recount: 2 months approx. for renderer (DX9) 2-3 months approx. for DX11 to be added after DX9. Total: 4-5 months for full renderer effect

That's weird because you have a decent quad-core processor that should work very well with the game. What's the performance like on other games?
-
I'd love to see you carry 85 pounds of steel in your hands, much less fire it.

Christ you guys are relentless. Did you not see where I said if he wants 2133 then he can get 2133.

If you can tell the difference between 59 and 62 fps, then go ahead. But what I posted was a simple build suggestion. I never said "Buy this, nothing else" My rule of thumb is if you're just gaming, 8gb DDR3-1600 will work just fine.

Show me a game where ram speed provides a significant increase in performance The ram speed is up to the buyer, but it will not provide a noticeable increase. To the human eye, gaming will be exactly the same no matter the speed.

If you want to spend 1700 on a PC, I suggest building this. I bet my wallet it will blow the circuits off of the one you are about to buy. Off topic question: Why do you always reply with colored text?

My idea on how to make in-game maps worth looking at.
SFRGaming replied to Rags!'s topic in Suggestions
I think you are trying to break a simple survival game down way too much. As well as you're judging the games mechanics as a full release game. You cannot do that at this moment. Considering what the devs have planned, almost every single mechanic will change, from now to full release. -
My idea on how to make in-game maps worth looking at.

Ok then. Let's just make it so you buy dayz, you play, you die, and your PC is fried so you can't respawn :D -
That is such an optical illusion with the guy on the right. His gun wrap blends nicely to the ground next to him, making it seem as if he is partially invisible.

As far as I know, they just finished with PAX East so I'd just give them time to get back and write one up.

That quality  :| -
Start the animation and open your inventory at the same time. ex: My use key is F. So when I skin, I hit F and Tab at the same time.

This whole essay you wrote is basing loot distribution as it is now, in early access alpha, with no central economy or loot balancing. The devs intentionally increase every item's loot spawn to get people to test it. Hence why you see a fuckton of plate carriers spawning everywhere. By beta, finding a plate carrier will be a blessing sent to you from heaven. Keep this in mind.

Better physics and better throwing animation?

If there are mags, then yes. No mags? Leave it. Unless you have a tent.

There's actually quite a lot of BDU pants that have this built in Example:

Why has it been 2 years that zombies go through doors ?
SFRGaming replied to paradogz's topic in General Discussion
This is basically caused by server load. Can't use the selection menu? High server load Zombie walking through door? High server load -
Basing weapon performance off of 1 encounter with a possibly untrained player. Granted you find one with ammunition, it's one of the best weapons. Plethora of attachments and just about the best accuracy you can get out of a carbine. High rate of fire, low recoil, flat trajectory, fast bullet speed, what's not to love?

Discussion about weapon slots on your back
SFRGaming replied to Zyryanoff's topic in General Discussion
Ultra realism. Realism is good until it gets to a point that the game becomes undesirable. You have to have redundancy somewhere. -
I never directly implied you were idiotic. I simply stated the idea was. It was not direct as you're not the first to suggest this.
