And yet, you skip most of the mandatory operations you must execute when abiding by the CTT that is provided in the Army. Everything I am seeing here is fake. "I'm feeling faint, my stomach hurts, I feel like throwing up, I'm sweating ALOT, there is a weird taste in my mouth/on my breath, I'm breathing very heavy ......what would you want to do?" Ever stop and think to loosen the clothing, giving the casualty water (if conscious)? It could be a simple heat stroke which doesn't take much to treat.

I beg to differ. My AR-15 hits decent at 300m. Of course it has a comp barrel and there's where I could see Dean adding different barrels. But, none the less, the M4A1's stock barrel is still pretty good.

And it is all automated for Dean. Do you realize how hard it is for Dean to go through the data base and ban someone single handedly? Let me remind you the data base is getting updated every 3-5 sec with 200,000+ online. I wanna see YOU go try to find that ONE name in the data base. This is the reason Dean did the data base wipe a few weeks ago. He doesn't have the time, nor patience to single out a scripter/hacker.

The helmets and ballistic vest work, but I feel he hasn't configured damage reduction with all the other (regular) clothes. I was in full TTsKO uniform with a UK tactical vest and a zombie still made me bleed in 1 hit to the chest. Sounds a bit illogical.

Oh, and just so you know, your GPU won't help when trying to render huge 3D objects. Best be counting on your CPU for that.

The DayZ: Standalone engine could give 2 shits what GPU you have. Most of the time, it's only using 20% or less of it. At the moment the game is still CPU intensive. And the engine being a modified version of the Arma 2 engine, I'd bet AMD cards won't be effective. Arma has always catered to intel.

I really do like most of this. At the moment I don't have time to go through it bit by bit. One I saw that maybe should be changed is the suppressor. Yes, it adds weight and length, but I think it should be more in depth. There are many types of suppressors that, because of their construction, have different effects on the weapon. One may decrease muzzle velocity and accuracy, while another may grant you stock muzzle velocity, but affect accuracy. There should be a wide range of suppressors with different pros and cons. -
This has be suggested and shot down over 100 times. It has nothing to do with the zeroing. People have zero'd their weapons 100m less than they should for a target and the bullet still travels over the target. It's the spread that's causing the problem. Once Dean start's seeing that it's a problem with the community, he'll just change it with a patch and see how it turns out. It's actually a very simple fix. Just takes a few min to go into the game files and change the gun spread parameter from 0.1 to something else.

Dude, this is a game. There is no error in sight line-up or trigger jerk. I was referring to the game. And I find it funny how you know everything about me enough to say I have never shot a rifle (in which I have). The game lines up the sights for you PERFECTLY and trigger jerk isn't even a mechanic in-game.

I fire AR-15's every weekend with 30+ other people and I use a Flash Hider. I never said that it removed the muzzle flash completely now did I? I have seen people fire an AR-15 with a flash hider and it is VERY far from what the game has currently. Plus, you need to take a chill pill. Acting like a rage-driven dumbass will not get you respected here.

The problem with all the weapons' accuracy isn't the fact whether you had be running for a good few minutes or not. Say I had been running and it is very difficult for me to hold a gun steady. No matter how much the gun is moving, as long as the sights line up on a target, you will most likely hit it, guaranteed the weapon is in good condition. Running should not affect the WEAPONS ACCURACY, more it should only affect your ABILITY to UTILIZE the weapons accuracy.

That might just be a slang term from where you are from. When talking guns, effective range is universal. It basically means how far will the round go before it reaches a point in it's decreasing velocity that it losses the ability to project lethal damage to a target.

I do disagree with what the other guy said but there's no need to insult him. You are both on the same side and I'll be damned if you really are a marine straight out of boot camp acting like this. I'm really sick of the "Oh I'm a Marine, lol army sux" bullshit that I'm seeing.

At the moment, the game is biased to your CPU. The game is only utilizing 20% of your GPU, so it really doesn't matter what you have. The CPU is gonna make the biggest difference. When GPU optimization comes along, they will most likely add SLI support so you can run up to 2 card. I'd highly discourage them adding SLI support for 3-4 cards since it isn't really needed. As long as you have a GTX 560 or better and your CPU isn't too outdated and overclocked past 4.0 GHz, you'll get 60+ frames. -

Well, character got reset for the 8th time. I understand this is alpha and things like this happen but I have seen several threads regarding this and the past 2 patches have no effort in trying to fix this problem. The first few times were okay since it's Alpha and things like that were bound to happen, but I would have figured that Dean would be working to fix it.
