I agree. From an IRL standpoint, I can put lead into a target @ 300m with all stock manufacturer parts and the weapon's effective range is 500m. The devs just need to ditch the idea that a buttstock and handguard somehow affect how accurate the gun is. Those things should affect ergonomics. The only "attachment" I can see having a true effect on the weapon's (not operator's) accuracy, is a heavy / match-grade barrel.

Maybe the .380 will be like the 6.5 in Arma 3, but for pistols. Having the speed and trajectory of a 9mm, as well as the knock down power of a .45 caliber. -
If they generated all of the woods for the debug lands, you can kiss your sweet FPS goodbye. The debug plains go on forever. There's been talk about expanding the map when resources are available. Until then, we will just have to deal with what we have. I honestly don't understand the reason why you would even be up so far north / west. Having 400 hrs in the game, I have never needed to go anywhere near the plains and the only reason I went near it in the mod was to form a small base away from others.

My point is, Dean put the game up for early access so he: 1). Doesn't have to hire a HUGE testing team to iron out every single bug. 2). Can get community feedback on how to make the game better. Testers get paid whenever they are hired by the company. We are not hired, but we are still testers. EDIT: And we actually do get compensated. For testing the game and reporting bugs, we get a progressively smoother experience and we get to have a voice in certain features of the game. We also get to talk to the devs and they put forth really valid and thorough answers (something I don't see that often with other games in development) Here's another: And another: Oh, I bet they don't get paid.

Yes, they plan to do bikes/motorcycles/atvs and MAYBE a small car first. But, 64-bit is crucial to making vehicles work properly so it will come first. 64-bit will allow the server to use more memory, thus letting the server handle more load. Therefore, they can smooth and perfect the physics (since its based off of server tick rate, which is affected by server load), and then cars can be made. Dean actually sent out a tweet that he saw people working on testing the new pathfinding, starting the vehicles, and planning for controls/action menu. I personally hope they put forth LOTS of time towards the model itself. I couldn't stand the way the cars looked in the mod. The little yellow hatchback's interior reminded me of playing an old Need for Speed arcade game from the 90's. And with me being quite a grease monkey, I hope the suspension acts realistically (specifically vehicles with solid axle suspension having true articulation and non of that 3D model stretching crap like in arma 3). -

The white dots you're describing may be different from what everyone else is seeing. All of my settings are maxed and I can still see twinkling little specks in the trees. -
Maybe, but it could be a useless addition. We already have protector cases, and it should pretty much do the same exact thing. Putting all of your water-perishable items in the protector cases and any other Item that wouldn't be affected by water should be fine in your pockets.

Everyone has it since the game doesn't have TXAA. I have 2 Nvidia cards and I still have the same issue. Buying new hardware isn't going to fix it. I'm waiting for the new rendering engine to see what it solves. -

You can go back and check their twitter when they took out the ability to wear both. People bitched and complained for days on end and they explained why many times on their twitter. I sighed because people have proposed this before. -

*sigh* If you will go back to when it was taken out, the devs took the ability to wear both out since there were clipping problems. They are making another mask that won't have clipping problems, but it's lower priority since the mask serves no purpose at the moment. No petition needed for this. -
I know people have suggested this before, but I bought a new "hiking" backpack (I know it's a large rucksack from the U.S. Army, but I will be using it for hiking) from a storage container that someone bought in an auction. I felt this is the best bridge between the Hunting and Mountain backpack in the game. Front: Back(has a plastic vertebrae for weight support): Size comparison (shoes are 10.5 US size): I feel this would give players the ability to look over their shoulder without having the backpack block their view, but still maintain 35 and maybe even 40 slots. I would make this VERY rare; players should feel accomplished when they find this.

"Well there is the huntig backpack, which does exactly what you describe." If you go back and read, I said it combines the hunting backpack (for visibility and camo) and the mountain backpack (for storage space).
