Ate antibiotics - have orange sick indicator.

Charcoal tabs help you immediatelly after you take the chemical, a when the indicator is already orange that means you already absorbed the substance. Drink a lot of water, food and hope for the best. Now if you were already sick and took antibiotics, they take a while to kick in. -
Well yeah, that's something that I haven't thought of. Maybe if logging on within a 50m radious of every fortification it just spawns the person further away or in a new spawn completely.

This is a free forum and there's no need to insult others. There are no south american servers who speak spanish as native language. The server companies don't even provide such locations.

Good bye privacity when playing a game. I would seriously stop playing if this was added, even if this benefitted me. Remember not every single person in the world is a native english, and I myself speak spanish with all of the friends I play dayz with. If you want to have a clusterfuck of languages and annoying sounds so be it, then you would have a shitton of threads over here begging to remove that system. There is a voice chat already. It is optional for some reason. And I don't even think you can access private skype conversations, that would be a really big problem for BI studios coming from windows.

I think that is the actual idea of the devs, I don't know where but they've posted somewhere that they intend to add this mechanic in future builds, so the groups can clear an area of zombies and then hold it.

Porting a mod into a game engine isn't an easy task. The bug remains there mainly because I am sure they haven't worked in spawn points and spawning mechanics yet and they ported an actual copy of what was in the mod because they knew it was working well and would work for the alpha. Infact in all the streams everyone spawned in a single coordinate due to testing reasons, so it wouldn't be weird if they just ported the mod spawning mechanics a day before releasing the alpha...

I think this might be a bug, I don't think you can get any single disease by cleaning wounds with an appropiate bacterial killer. Dirty or not at most you'll suffer a bit of pain while you apply the alcohol into them. By cleaning every single wound you would just be preventing a disease. Everyone just assumed you get into that fake state of sickness so the game recognizes it has to clean your wounds.

Combat log protection is being developed and I am sure your character will be killed if you log out while in combat. What will be considered "Combat" is the question, because in the past it was only if you were directly shot or shot by yourself. Maybe with the new network bubble they might be able to detect combat in zones by either detecting anyone who shoots and restricting everyone in a 750m range from logging out or something like that.

Right now you can only access the gear of an unconcious or cuffed person, I believe. (Yet you can force fed others who run around you after you actually clicked the action. Welcome to the beautiful alpha :))

While you were not a potential threat and you knew it, in the climax of meeting with someone others may think anything about you. Now saying that they play the game better than anyone is sort of wrong. You play the game however you want and there are no 'good' or 'bad' ways to play it, that's the good thing about sandboxes. Anyways welcome to dayz, where you might be shot even if naked, or not. Also note that balota IS a dangerous place and most people kill each other for the loot. I do agree with moving those tents and barracks away.

I had a damaged PRESS vest and ended up changing it for an UK vest because I needed up the space. It is awesome though and If I found one right now I would swap it and drop whatever I am carrying in the extra slots. I have some pristine aviators, let's trade! I only demand in return ... ONE MILLION BEAN CANS. I also want to change my "SHOOT ME, I AM OVER HERE" backpack for the dark camouflaged one. P.S: If you already have one mag, every extra mag you find can be compresed into one slot by emptying it and leaving the empty mag. (Which is also the eviliest thing to leave in the military loot places). Each slot holds 30 5.56 bullets, while most of the mags use two slots for that.

Regarding the title: We are at a very early state of the game, we can compare this to a pregnancy. The game is conceived then it begins it's development for over nine months until it is born finally. You can't kill something that hasn't been born because... well, it hasn't been born! (Let's not turn my sentence into a debate please, it is a metaphore!) Give it time. Instead of complaining about a gameplay-wise feature, focus more on how the game evolves and develops itself. Developers have way higher priorities than balancing the gameplay right now, and anything regarding the gameplay is secundary for them, because in the deep, server hopping is only to get gear, and gear is used to play. (And they'll end up addressing it in the next patch because some people don't understand that this is an alpha and we're all alpha-testers, not players.) Of course, server hopping is annoying. Can't say I haven't done it to a minimal extent, yet It is incredibly funny to camp at the barracks and kill everyone who pops up from other servers looking for loot. That's how I did my first headshoot the other day :D With patience it will be fixed. You can limit yourself to the coast, helping others, and all while the devs get all things sorted out.

You can only replenish mags with those bullets, but not actually chamber one round in the weapon. At least until it's fixed. Also the wiki is sort of wrong, it took me three shoots to kill somebody with the pistol and they didn't have any sort of protection on where I shot.

Stay away from big cities or coastal cities. Get enough water from wells to avoid dehydratation and you will be able to the northern closer towns to the coast. You might find some equipment and food while looking for water but don't expect end game gear. Loot also depends on your luck on what spawned exactly. I once spent ten minutes looking and found several food and water supplies, and another time I spent half an hour just to get one can of sardines (which I couldn't even open!) Clothes in general are pretty common, so are helmet bikes (which provide impact protection in the head). You should not ignore any kind of clothing unless it's worse than the one you currently have, being well clothed decreases the chance of bleeding when hit by the Zeds. At most you will find some common melee stuff. As already answered loot does not replenish after a restart, there for if someone has already been there, though luck for you. Also, There are no "servers with more ample loot". All servers follow the same algorithm to generate loot and while the loot will never be exactly the same in two servers, the chances are.

I remember saying Mr. R that he would not allow third person, or would somehow limit it to when running and such. I don't mind if it's removed, I like the first person better, makes it easier to shoot and respond to any situation, however I use third person most of the times as it really gives you an advantage at overlooking interiors, places, etcetera. If everyone has access to that advantage I would have a disadvantage by not using it; yet if none were allowed to have an advantage then it would be fair for all. Just like the argument for the gamma trick; while it's there it will be used, there for, people who refuse to use it lose greatly over those who use it.

Because wearing a gas mask in a post apocalyptic scenario where airbone diseases might be a problem is so COD. Unless you meant the clown masks (specify please). In that case I don't see a relation between COD and those masks. Either ways the last COD I played was the fourth one several years ago. -
