Thanks for putting this together! I barely have enough time to add the videos to a playlist, let alone get it all organized into a readable format. Some of the older guides will be updated once I get through this patch of new updates.

If I remember correctly, it's only Windows XP 32bit itself that won't see more then 3.74gb or RAM: Applications can still utilize the extra ram, if they are aware that the RAM is there. -

DayZ / ARMA 2 is a bit of a RAM hog. I think on average it will soak up 1.5GB ram at least on it's own. More RAM will help. -
Yeah, it's too bad about the script kiddies (most of the "hackers" aren't really that): I can't stream from my favorite servers now. I have to play on ones no-one knows I am on, and that means I can't play with the subscribers :/

CPU for that socket is going to mad expensive compared to newer proc's in the current generation of sockets. Don't bother upgrading. Save up and build a new one. -
Faster > Down convert to earlier DayZ, kill self, reload DayZ again. This is why the manual way of installing DayZ is superior sometimes.

Mucked around, but the code is friggen' complicated when it comes down to how hit's are calculated. Apparently, when you break bone, you break EITHER a arm or leg, but of course you will crawl around regardless of which limb was broken. That's why breaking bones from zeds is still so common probably. I couldn't find the exact code for bleeding, but rest assured: I am sure that you getting hit and beginning to bleed is just as common in your first 5 minutes of the game as it is 5 hours in.

I think you said you were in Cherno tents? Just leave your character and go watch a movie. Someone will eventually come by there, or you should die from hunger/thirst.
