Vehicles respawn at server restart.

The coast ate them all up. I don't know if they are rarer up north (I know I've had hard times finding them up there), but on the coast they seem plentiful. Kill rabits. They give 1 raw meat.

Why not spawn all over the map instead of the coast?

Why? As soon as you break away from the coast, you are already "spread". Would hate to have to make a run from Elektro to NW Airfield only to have some guy newly spawn there 5 minutes before I got there, pick up a DMR, and snipe me as I came into the airfield. -

Do military zombies drop all kinds of ammo?

Yes, even regular zombies drop items. They don't always have the "pick up X item" in the action menu though: You have to sometimes specifically go into "Gear" to see if they have something. Good way to get drinks/canned food. -
Crossbow is so-so. It feels hard to aim and the "iron sights" are all in your face. The axe is great to run around with I have found, though in cities I would recommend guns due to other players. Up north? Axe all the way, unless I have a quiet/silenced weapon.

Yes sir. I think they would essentially need to perform a lot of re-coding in order to get what you want. Currently, the system is based off your cd-key, regardless of the profile you make in the Multiplayer section. I would assume that an ARMA 3 or standalone version of DayZ will perhaps incorporate a login system like WoW, where you can have multiple characters.

Your sound will become muted from shock / blood loss I found, but sometimes the deafness stays (glitch I assume). I've had to restart my game to get the sound back, even after getting re-blooded. "How to Find and Get Into a Hospital" added to my to-do list. Should release tonight, EST time.

In Balota, in the middle of the airstrip, is a re-smelting furnace.

If your bag does not have enough slots and you try to put a gun in it, the gun will disappear. Similar to when you try to put too much into a tent or car.
