Oh, totally forgot to mention: The DayZ GuideZ channel is having a 1k subscribers contest. Personally, I would rather have the physical map. Would make it more interesting. I use the online one all the time, but there'd be something cool about having it in real life. The contest will be changing to a different prize though I think: Already at 1300 subs, and I'm thinking to make it a virtual prize.

I saw a video with a guy that had TWO in his inventory. Some videos out on youtube now. The model looks pretty easy to find, I was worried that it would look like makarov mags on the ground (green bag). Only problem: I have been playing for HOURS and many LIVES and SERVERS and not found even one. I think the videos are all russian one's on hacked servers.

Update: Still have not found one. Anyone?

What does CH:ON or CH:OFF mean in server titles? Is that for global chat? If so, do players need an earlier Beta version to not have global chat restricted? If so, which one? Can you gut a squirrel? Give your top 3 tips for surviving up north Give your top 3 tips for looting the NW airfield Give your top 3 tips for finding where you are on the map when you do NOT have any tools (using the online map is fine, even recommended) Where have you found bear traps? Did you step in it or was a new loot pickup? Why do people insist that tomatoes MUST be fruits (and who really freaking cares)?

Not sure what the complaint about "not enough sticky posts" is? The "Index of Helpful Threads" sticky is all you need, along with the GuideZ channel really.

Close Steam, then right click it and Run As Administrator. Once loaded. right click ARMA 2 and choose "Properties". On one of the tabs, there is an option to "Verify Integrity". Use that option.

But you really should be loading up the ARMA 2 and ARMA CO games BEFORE attempting to load any mod: Steam needs to finish installing files personal to your computer and account after any download.

To run as admin, right click the Steam shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator"

Yes, make sure that you can get ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 CO running BEFORE you attempt to load any mods.

He bought CO, but does he have the main ARMA 2 game or at least demo installed?

Wait, so do you get this error when you are about to start a DayZ server or when ARMA 2 initially loads? And did you try to play/start ARMA 2 BEFORE installing the mod/chaning startup options?
