how has the dry wells affected your gameplay

I wonder if the developers done this on purpose, to see how well the community managed without them? I have been enjoying fulling up my water bottle every time it rains :) -
potentially, this is a very good idea. Stones are widely available already, and they could add a 'break stone' option to split a large stone into many smaller ones - ammunition would be mroe plentiful than improvised arrows that's for sure.

Hey, spreadsheets we have too - here's the weapons one. They are up-to-date with .49 stable. http://dayzintel.com/dayz-stats/weapon-stats Values in the game files are not out of 10, no. I run them through a number cruncher which spits out a /10 value :) Hope that's of some use to you. -

It's pretty quiet, I've extracted all the weapon stats and keep them up-to-date here if you're interested: http://dayzintel.com/dayz-cheat-sheet Technically speaking, persistence is supposed to be working on .49 but it's very touch-and-go. On experimental .50, persistence is working very well so expect that to carry over in the next stable patch (possibly tomorrow.) -
There is no way that the V3S will make it into 0.50. It most likely won't be 0.51 either. My best guess is 0.52 around Christmas time, possibly January.

If it were me - I'd keep the SKS, btoh clips and the ammo. Keep the 1911 for quiter, zombie killing when in need. Also keep the flashbang for a giggle. Hide the rest in a forest if persistence is enabled! -
I would love to see an improvised fishing hook, you're right they are pretty rare. I think an improvised hook with a wooden stick should have high chance of breaking. An improvised hook with bone should be more durable.

The problem we have at the moment is that this game is often 'kill, or be killed'. I personally like to kill, but I will often hide from other players and try and communicate first before shooting. If i'm taken off guard and suddenly come into a dangerous situation, it's shoot to kill.

I love the piano in Gary's Mod, and the instrument styles in Starbound are another option. I would personally love to see instruments for those camp-fire situations.

I believe they've already changed the epi-pen so it works on every situation now apart from a heart attack, but the chances of the patient waking up permanently have been reduced, most likely thy will fall back unconscious soon after delivery.

I think the concept is flawed at the moment due to the shitty zombies, a zombie survival game with shitty zombies is flawed no matter which way you look at it.

Shopping Trolleys are such a stable part of zombie apocalypse media that I would bet your bottom dollar that they will either make it into the game as movable 'tents' or they will be static but spawn loot. I can't wait.

why does my character eat so much?

haha, here's a tip - eat and drink absolutely everything you come across until you have both 'energized' and 'hydrated' status. This normally consists of a full water bottle and/or a couple of tins of food. Make it your objective to keep these statuses instead of keeping the negative statuses away. -
Server rests aren't just there to keep to reset the time of day, the resets are required to 'flush' the server if you will, it helps increase keep the server smooth. But yes, you're right, admins can abuse the server restart functionality but they cannot log into the game before anyone else, so technically the only advantage they have is they they know exactly when the server is going to restart... conveniently just as they arrive at the airfield maybe..?

agreed, the new weather system adds a whole new level of depth to this game. I just ran for 20 minutes up a dirt road in the rain at night time, and it just felt... awesome.

I'm confused, is this for the Mosin, or the SKS? EDIT: OK I trawled through the thread- it's for the hunting rifle, but is the hunting rifle in game now? And is the 'hunting rifle' really just a ruger 10/22? -
