If you hit a town where there are zombies and the doors are still closed then it will still have loot, I tend to use this rule whether or not to spend an hour looting a spot or just move on up the road. The server hopping is becoming a pain as I have hit a couple of military bases and always seem to find an m4 but never any ammo as ammo is harder to find. It is obvious thet the hoppers are clearing out the ammo this way. You tend to find the mosin rifle in schools and cars and the pistol and m4 in military spots.

Yeah, I noticed that. It just makes your gun look cool atm. I cant figure out how to bayonet someone yet either.

I cured the rotten fruit sickness with lots of water, antibiotics and vitamin pills as I couldn't find any charcoal tabs. I believe the charcoal tabs always work if you can find them.

In a bush or if I am in a town/city in an outside toilet shack with the door closed.

Use the DayZB online map and try to find a compass is my advice.

My first spawn I was attacked buy a guy with an axe, even though I was saying I didnt have anything, next spawn I made my way to an airfield, hooked up with two guys one of which decided to bash my head in after about 10 mins of looting together. I have killed one player who didnt heed my advice to not equip his m4 at the military base. Other than that I have had a few interactions and on the whole people are friendly. I will always greet before any action.

The Charcoal Tablets cure the early stages of food poisoning, the big rule is DON'T EAT ANY ROTTEN FOOD! Fill up with water as soon as you spawn from a water pump and then look for food. -
