Hi RazerMatrix The link below should give you a good idea on how well you can run DayZ. (thread dedicated to system specs and running the game) http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154395-can-i-run-dayz-retail-post-here/

I agree with you that it shouldn't be aimed at fixing KOS. I am hoping for a system that is less a solution to something I don't personally see as a problem(kos), but adds a little something to choices and something that might give the damage modifiers a bit more immediate meaning. Keep the ruined camo clothing that can (now) hold less or change out for less damaged items that can carry more. One of the problems I can see with this system is what would happen to items that were in those slots before it became damaged.

I don't think I would like having inventory space reduced as a standard, but it might be interesting to see clothing/bags that are baddly damaged be able to hold less items due to holes/fraying.

[Suggestion] Option to permanently flatten grass in front of you
sapperhedge replied to gibonez's topic in Suggestions
I agree with Gibonez I would like to see grass staying flattened for 15-30 minutes after some one crawls through it, This way a player can still be tracked by the path they made within a reasonable (to me) time frame. It would be nice (if possible) to increase the time grass stayed down depending on the amount of time it was being pressed flat/number of times the trail was taken. You sit in one spot for a few minutes that patch is going to take longer to stand back up compared to the trail you made there and out. -edit- Added in red. -
I have the same opinion as some of the other posters here. I would enjoy seeing more customization to the characters face, but the clothing options should relatively stay the same as it is currently. It would be pretty cool to be able to grow a beard in game as well as have the option to shave if you have a razor. I do think the picture you made might make a good tent/storage inventory screen when/if it gets implemented. Just replace the face generation box with player inventory and a few other minor odds and ends

I dig the idea of a post action report and would enjoy this being real at some point down the line of development. @DevilDog A stat for # of times shot/injured would be pretty fun to have.

Curious about peoples 'Rules of Engagement'
sapperhedge replied to UNDERWORLD's topic in General Discussion
It really depends on how I am playing that character. I try not to play the same character/personality all the time, but only switch personalities/play styles when I die. (but I almost always leave unarmed players alone) -
possible solution to 3PP imbalance?
sapperhedge replied to burkino_026@yahoo.com's topic in General Discussion
I like the idea of removing the aiming crosshair. While a good start, would not really address the issue most 1PP only supporters seem to be (to me) most vocal about. Which is being able to see past walls/corners with out exposing them self's to the danger that would normally entail if they were in 1PP. -
I have been a fan of MnB for years and would enjoy having a melee system similar to it. Maybe not as in depth as the blocking/chamber blocking. Just a simple way to orient which direction you are going to swing (forehand, backhand, chop, etc.) Then I picture in my mind 4 survivors, two ATV's, and rifles with bayonets jousting in the wilderness. It made me giggle.
