because they are too weak emotionally to cope with anything other than that false artifially generated sense of success provided for them since birth by among other sources the media, their parents and more importantly dumbed down easy to be good at games. dayz punishes the weak -
dayz rules joke.

regulation No. 20 if that pivotal moment ever comes to pass where you notice you are spending more time on the forums than actually playing the product these forums was designed to support then it's time to switch off your pc and reassess your life, contemplate the value of time and meditate on where your life went so horribly wrong. -
I should be able to gather telephone directories and fashion a bullet proof suit using Velcro and epoxy resin and the telephone directories all these items exist in the real world and if I am not very much mistaken the laws of physics still apply failure to implement this shall be seen a sloppy game design practice by all right thinking men of substance

this is an easy problem to solve all those foul creatures who insist on playing while exploiting the otherworldly powers afforded by the use of 3rd party communications software should be forced to play on quarantined servers where others who take the game a little more seriously can gather and point and laugh and shout things of an unnecessarily offensive nature through side chat, live stream it

wherever I spawn it don't matter, once I've got a gun and bino's i'm going to Starry. I don't bother entering the town any more, it's too risky, why take the chance when there are plenty of other guys prepared to go for me? My strategy is simple and devastatingly effective, I position myself under a favourite tree about 500m out and wait. I never have to wait long, regular as clockwork some poor survivor shows up and hits the tents, I watch. If he emerges with a decent gun the hunt is on. I track him wherever he goes and when the moment presents itself I kill him and upgrade my gear. The beauty of Starry is by the time they reach it most players are pretty well geared food and meds wise, not to mention tool belt items and the occasional ghillie. Even better is when I see a poorly geared player skip Starry and continue north, experience tells me this fella is heading either to a camp or a body, either way they now have a stalker and once they lead me to the mother lode I kill them dead and fill my boots. For me starry is the best location on the map for finding players to track and kill. I fuken loves it.

no offence mate. Maybe throw in some tension and drama, a twist? Creative writing is more than just listing a sequence of events, quick tip, have a point, it makes it so much more interesting for the reader.
-
extraordinarily long winded way of saying 'I killed for loot, maybe I should have tried robbing him without murdering?' answer??? Do whatever floats yer boat fella, me? I kill and derive both pleasure and gear from it.

maybe the heroes will try to heal us to death

How the hell do you suppose to know where you are?

Lost??? Unable to use an ounce of initiative or creative thinking to figure it out?? Unlucky! Kill yourself, respawn and keep your eyes glued to the bottom right hand corner of the screen. -
You gotta love Starry Sobor

it's dog eat dog as far as i'm concerned, Survival of the fittest. I shed no tears for dead players, I do not waste feelings on what are no more than the rotting remnants of a now dead dream. No I celebrate what is a well earned gear upgrade. -

couldn't agree less. If I want a full on hardcore military simulation experience I go play arma on Hardcore. But when I want to blow off steam and just immerse myself in the wanton slaughter of players I play dayz, and third person plays a massive role in helping me both kill other players and avoid being killed by them. Let's not forget this wonderful feature is available to all so everyone wins. -

Nail on the head I never let my presence be felt until the shooting starts. The first thing they know about any of this is the crack of gunfire and the sickening sound of bullets smashing into flesh and bone. followed by flies. -
lee enfield for me every time I like the way it looks, I like the way it sounds and I like the way it fires true every single time. I like the way there is little to no bullet drop over 5 - 600 metres, I like the fact that ammo spawns everywhere. I like the iron sights, the overall feel of the gun in first person and I like the fact that most players shit a brick when they here one discharged close to them. I like it's versatility, it suit close quarters, mid range and even the occasional cheeky sniping session. it's a superb iconic weapon., I like it.

looking for a team mate
LeeHarveyEnfield replied to LeeHarveyEnfield's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
wise words, I get killeb quite a lot either heading towards my spot or in the moments after I begin to stalk one player and clearly didn't notice another. High risk area for all play styles but high rewards are there to be had. ty for moving -

there are several good spots that look perfect for snipers, I don't tend to snipe here for obvious reasons but the hills just north of the tents are often used by snipers so I guess they are good spots.
