@vinyljunkie i believe DomiStyle said before that would be possible in a new version. Anyways i have another small suggestion for DaRT: Add ability to set comments on your 'Saved Hosts'. IE. IP PORT PASSWORD - DayZ Vanilla server 1 I think this would be a neat small thing to have especially for people that have many servers, eventhough you should be able to tell from the IP:PORT but this would make it even easier. ;) -

Awesome DomiStyle, and yeah deleting the %localappdata%\DomiStyle folder fixed the problem, thanks. Will be looking forward to any new versions of DaRT. :) -

EDIT: I restarted my PC which still has not resolved the issue (same message) - DaRT seems to still be working fine for a friend of mine. EDIT 2: The issue was fixed by me renaming the folder DaRT was in from 'DaRT' to something else. IE: DaRT\DaRT.exe = crash but if you were to rename that folder to anything else the tool loads up fine IE. yoloswag\DaRT.exe = fine, very strange... -

Hello everybody, i would like to invite you guys to join our DayzEpoch Chernarus Server! Our server is both PVP AND PVE orientated! So you will find a mix of both Heroes and Bandits. We have quite a lot of features added to the server, without purposely "ruining" the DayZ Feel to the game. These include: NEW 10-11-2013 We Now Run on a new super powered Fully DEDICATED machine With 32Gb of RAM, 2 RAID 0 SSD's and a beast CPU, This will reduce the amount of lag and other server problems dramatically! Also added bike deploying (right click toolbox > Deploy Bike) and you now also have the option to consume bloodbags! (right click bloodbag > Consume it) This will give you back some blood, food and drink but has a very high infection chance! - My Custom made Anti-Hack (With Regular updates to keep the server protected!) - Debug Menu (can be toggled) - Trade Protection/Spawn Selection (Safe-zones & Anti Theft inside them + the ability to choose where you spawn) - SelfBB/Autofuel - Fire-dancing and a suicide option. (for when it all just becomes too much...) - Clothes removal (for the perverted people) - A.I MISSIONS (Wide variety of missions: From building supply drops, Medical crates to Heavily A.I Guarded weapons caches!) - These have been modified to improve client & server performance! - Extra Trader stockz ( + added more guns,items and vehicles to the traders) - Fixed Vehicle Salvage/Repair - Bike Deploying - Consuming Bloodbags. - Base Building +++ - Added Custom Buildings/towns (Not toooo many though) - Friendly active admins + All the other regular Epoch Jazzzz If Requested, MORE CAN BE ADDED! *We host regular weekend events and prize winings* Everyone is welcome to join as long as you follow our few simple rules: 1. I personally would recommend holding off of any big new feature additions and would focus on any possible stability/ functionality improvements for DaRT. There were many things that were fixed in DaRT 2.0 but i still witness bugs/ crashes / connection losts even with DaRT 2.0 especially when we have a high player count online. Just saying i think it would be better to perfect all the current features prior to adding any new ones ;) Some issues we experience running DaRT 2.0 for an A2:OA DayZMod server: - Frequent random player request time outs/connection lost - http://i.imgur.com/pPBj4BS.png (all admins reporting this happens from time to time, server still is online and responds 'normally' to other things, mainly happens during high player count and usually reconnects instantly next auto refresh - still very frustrating. I have been using default player / ban ticks as i didn't want to edit this yet) - Player list shows up as empty and with 0 players online - Also happens randomly, upon a refresh the player list will show up as empty and the player count as 0, the list usually comes back fine during next auto or manual refresh. (possibly related to first problem?) - Execute > Reload Scripts not functional - I used to be able to edit BE filters and then reload scripts making the changes take effect immediately, now no matter how many times i select reload scripts my changes will not take effect until the server is restarted again. - Occasionally chat gets logged twice in DaRT, sometimes it will only 'double log' one or two lines and other times it will do it for an extended period of time until a DaRT restart. http://i.imgur.com/IW4OuOD.png (Ingame) http://i.imgur.com/Nwbyivw.png (DaRT) - Replace 'Allow new messages' with 'Auto Scroll' again (or add both options?) - i preferred the auto scroll option as you would still receive new messages and could manually scroll through them as you wished. - Allow banning of IP from player database - isn't this easily possible as the ban format is the same as with a GUID, and DaRT would have their IP logged anyways? Would definitely be much easier than manually adding IP bans for offline/ logged players. - Add 'Both' or 'IP and GUID' under Ban Type when banning players so that both GUID and IP get banned (http://i.imgur.com/5zjtVUa.png), currently you can only choose between the two which is very inconvenient if you have to then manually add an IP ban in addition. - Sorting player database / ban lists - This is a disabled feature i would really like to see implemented in a version of DaRT Can't really think of anything else but any general stability/ bug fixes you can think of would be much appreciated by myself and i'm sure many other admins also. :D If you require a live server to test DaRT on hit me up i'd be happy to allow this. -

Only slight inconvenience i have noticed recently is that every now an then when the server has a high amount of players on (40+) that when DaRT refreshes the players list will go completely blank and it will show players: 0 until the next DaRT refresh. Happens occasionally, haven't taken much time looking into the details of this but mainly the issue occurs when the player count is high. @DomiStyle if you need any help with live testing DaRT i am more than happy to offer our server for the job, we are currently getting 40-45 players during peak hours. -

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHzI think your CPU and the low clock speed is holding you down, if you are able/know how to overclock it you should see an improvement. -

We aren't huge fans of advertising, but thought it may do our community good. We currently have One Server up and running with many features and additions, without spoiling the purpose of DayZ ( No 10000 vehicles, No JETS etc.) We have had other map/mod servers in the past but these were closed due to lack of interest from players. Our admin team will gladly help resolve any issues regarding rule breakers, glitchers, cheaters, exploiters etc. We run our Epoch Server and Teamspeak on a fully dedicated machine with a fast connection, 2 Raid 0 SSD'S, 32Gb's of DDR3 RAM and a beast CPU. All this along with many optimizations will hopefully keep server performance maximized. Our dedicated machine is located in France, EU. However we have nothing against people from all over the damn place joining. Our admin team is mainly UK/US based. Server 1 Features: DayZ Epoch Chernarus, EU/UK Hosted. Server running for over 1 and a half years! I am currently having an issue that when our server reaches high pop (30+) people, Execute\Reload Scripts doesn't always work. I edited a certain restriction in the .txt file cause a player was having a problem, then i saved the file. Then went over to DaRT to reload the scripts. Reloaded several times and the player still kept getting kicked for the same restriction. Problem was resolved when the server restarted. :huh: -

@DomiStyle Thanks alot for this release, been using the new DaRT and have to say it's been working great. I have just one small suggestion: In the previous versions when banning players you were able to select "Ban GUID" and "Ban IP". If you had both boxes ticked the player would be IP & GUID banned obviously. In this new version there is only the option to select ban type "IP" or "GUID". While this is very useful i strongly recommend adding an option to select ban type "IP AND GUID". When you get cheaters you want to ban them in both ways as fast as possible, without manually having to add the IP or GUID to bans.txt. Other than that, thanks again for the release :D -

Hello, Just a small update... - From now on, All Cinder and Metal Walls/Floors and Buildables are Indestructible. (this also applies for bases already ingame)- We have slightly increased the HP for Wooden buildables but they can still be destroyed. - Added !info chat command that will show some basic server info, such as Decay Times and some other stuff. You can also use !rules for the server rules and !ts3 for Teamspeak info. - Fixed slight SQL error that will now properly fix some maintaining issues (we recommend area maintain using plotpoles = Every 2 weeks!) - Working on adding more Missions and Events, to liven up the server.- Working on finishing some custom towns/buildings. -

- NEW: Purchased vehicles (traders) that are left abandoned for over 2 weeks will loose their key and can then be taken by anyone. - FIXED: Building snapping. The hotkeys werent always working properly but this should be resolved. -

- Today we changed the combat log timer from 300 seconds to 150, this was done because it would glitch out sometimes and cause innocent players to have to wait for that long. - Fixed Certain bugs with the Safezones.
