    That looks like something i might want to try, but seeing the changes the original dayz has had and the announcements for release 1.8... i'd much rather play that instead. :)

    Hello DayZ community! i thought i'd come back to dayz and pass some time before the standalone is released ("when it's done!") but i couldnt find an decend public servers. my conditions are simple: - no crosshair or nameplates - no sniper when i spawn at the beach - no fully repaired vehicles everywhere - no bloodbagging myself = just plain simple vanilla dayz fun like it used to be. since most public hive serves seem to have some mod to get you geared pretty soon i figure there's not much sense in trying to do it the hardcore way on one of them. are there an good private hive servers out there that i can get access to and become a regular? thanks in advance!
