I was concerned, but then I'm just hoping it's for the alpha and allows them to cut down on balancing lootspawns. They're going to be balancing in beta, so hopefully that's when some of the more individual calibers get introduced.

A whole bunch of people are playing for hours, getting very emotionally invested in the game and then losing their shit because the problems they personally see as most important aren't getting fixed immediately. Too many players are more interested in screaming like children on reddit and the forums with rage threads than just fucking filing a bug report and giving the game a rest if they aren't enjoying it. Relax everyone, we have the mod, and breaking point, consider the recent sale on both armas an invitation. Also, can we stop with the constant debbie downer posts? They are very frustrating, and the entire team having to constantly defend it's moral integrity against overly frustrated customers can't be helping production surely.

A lot of people have played the game to death, which is a mistake seeing that it is alpha. They'll go, they'll come back, or maybe not, either way, I'm aware of the fact that it's not a finished game, and if I do get bored I'm well prepared to take a break. Others need to do the same. -

I fucking love the cz, sniper of choice in the mod, and hope it comes to the SA. exact same strength of the m24, the rangefinder on the scope is less intuitive, and when I was playing at least, it was much harder to find ammo, no way man.

Need another mod, it's the same time every day, and it only gets worse, this latest one has flooded everything off the first four pages! I would say this isn't a pointless thread, seeing as this cunt of a spambot keeps coming back, and it's a recurring hassle.

who even needs 32,000 sks rounds? You'll rarely get through 80 in a life. Just toss them away, noone wants anything to do with those tainted rounds.

As someone who played the mod, you should already be suspicious of everyone. Get a mic, don't listen to the guys saying "you don't need a gun to be friendly", you might not necessarily need an m4, but even just a pistol will save your life if you wave it around enough. Typing will get you killed, especially if they're standing right in front of you, so watch out. When you type, you lose control of the situation, making a nice big window of opportunity to shoot you in the face. Please stop with the, "It's a friendly server, and I'm friendly, EVERYONE SHOULD BE FRIENDLY!" shite, it's naive, and unrealistic. Stop letting people stand in front of you, just fucking protect yourself, you don't have to KoS, but don't expect other people to play by the same rules. The community isn't bad, they just don't consider the game happy play time, like you apparently. Also, try hardcore servers if there are any populated in your area.

Go find out? Generally yes, Berenzino is as populated with players, as your corpse will be with bullets by the time you get from supermarket to police station.

My bad, I edited out the part where I said I don't want a complete removal of KoS. I agree, I want KoS to be more refined, intense and measured instead of the pew pewing twelvies we have now. TBH I totally understand a good portion of the KoSers. Dayz offers something that CoD and Battlefield don't, consequence to dying, a rush of adrenaline during combat, and a feeling of power when you've defeated somebody, the other games don't offer that, because when you respawn in CoD you start off with that gear. I'm happy with that, that's fine, and I feel it too (maaaaaaaannnnn), all I want is the environment to pose as much of a threat as the players, so that killing people isn't all there is to it, so that the adrenaline rushes and power trips are intensified, because when you've spent 3+ hours getting geared, and generally staying alive and healthy, that's when killing or being killed is at it's most heart pumping, blood gushing best. TL;DR/Too randomly written - I don't want a removal of KoS, I want a removal of short-life deathmatching in my Dayz, combat is way better when you don't think you're going to get shot at, not when you plan on it.

Been asking for facemask bandanas since SA was released, fuuuuucccckkkeeeennnnnnnn commmooonnnn. Also I managed to get the question asked during a CTorchia interview - he didn't say no, but implied that it wasn't planned. That was a couple of months ago though, hopefully that's changed.

We'll......see what happens. The dev team is pretty notorious for not keep their dates so I'll be taking this one with a mug of salt. Can't say it wouldn't be nice though.
