Why would people be against an ak-101 in 5.56? Personally I'm pretty happy with this solution of adding .380 auto, it means we get our makarov, some sick smgs and the devs don't end up putting 9m para and 9m makarov into the game next to each other. Especially since there are only a couple of handguns that use 9mm Makarov. As long as the weapons are plausible I'm pretty happy, and I'm looking forward for the split in the amalgamated 7.62x51 into - .308 win and 7.62x54 Russian.

I don't think the game is dying, it hasn't even been born yet. Many people are waiting for more content to be added, zombies are being worked on as the devblog shows, and the forum has always been a hostile and nonsensical place. I don't think server pops are low, rather the population has spread itself out more because they're busy hopping for AKs.

Well you can't please everyone. If the devs held the patch back they'd have all the people complaining that they've lost faith because of lack of patch. So, to put it simply, the dev's can't win, because there are always going to be community members who make debbie downer threads about how they've given up, no matter what the circumstances are. Just let the devs do their thing, and worry about the finished product, if you aren't happy with the state of play, go play something else and come back later.

I'm actually keen for some loot addition and balancing, so players have a really strong pull to head inland. Along with some hard survival mechanics, so we gotta be careful of water, sparing of food and wary of sicknesses.

Why is it annoying spawning on the east coast, the end result is almost the same. Pointless idiots unwilling to move more than 1k from their spawn. -

Provided you can only store a limited amount of gear, and provided other players can get to it, it's fine. If you go and kit out from your tent 2-3 times and then die, you'll have to restock your tent at some point, the idea is to keep players looting and moving around the map. We had tents in the mod, they were the best. The safes in epoch were a step too far.

You can be a bit of a dick, can't you? If you don't place much importance on realism as far as weaponry is concerned that's cool, but how else are people who do care about those things meant to get the dev's attention if not by making posts and giving examples?

If they've fixed the rubberbanding on the internal version they will push it to exp today (IF). If that happens, and the rubberbanding is fixed and no other issues arise, we can probably expect patch to stable on friday. That seems to be the pattern (when everything goes to plan)

I've seen people willing to sit and wait until server restart, in silence, rather than make a new character. Some guys are just outright hostile. Get a good spot, and wait for them to come to you, it'll happen sooner or later. Be very careful about full on surrender, more often than not, that ends with handcuffs, a sore bottom, and a sunroof for your skull.

Why does this thread not come with a poll. OP you are doing the community a disservice by not including a poll which would simplify everyones arguments while demonstrating to the devs that this is important to the community. I'm under the impression that this is temporary until they reach beta. But I think it's about time the devs said whether this is planned as the finished ammo system or not, I'm straight up not cool with having ammunition classed under sniper, assault rifle, and pistol.

Reminton 700 would be nice as it's basically an m24 CZ550 would be nice because it's my fav from the mod, hopefully they add in a new scope with a built in rangefinder, and split the current mosin ammo into 7.62x54 mmR and .308 win.
