Because it doesn't always turn out like that, sometimes people give you morphine, bandages, take your gun and send you on your way. If it does turn out that some idiot kid is playing torture game 3d you can just not comply until they kill you. It's not rocket science. -

It's pretty annoying, as it's meant to be. I was sitting in a tree and got freaked out by footsteps about 3 times in the space of 10 minutes. -
The entire concept of logging in is unrealistic. Server hoppers are not necessarily easy to kill, as they can log in silently in a room you'd just cleared - unlikely, but still possible. I don't see what's wrong with the login reload, I never had an issue as I never logged into highly camped areas, which is the obvious solution. That being said, I don't think login sounds are really necessary.

Hopefully they fix the PU scopes zoom when they remove the LRS, and give it the ability to range farther than 300 meters....

the .45 acp is good for pinging zombies, not too loud and 1 shot KO. Also I use them when I carry a mosin, as I'm not a fan of carrying two weapons at once.

"You are dead." Seriously, you've just died, that's it. Although I would like it if they had a statistic for time survived like in the mod. Once we get some more mechanics and it's difficult to survive against the environment it'd be nice to know how long I can go for.

Definitely. It takes a lot of concentration to keep track of 6+ other players, you also have to get your team to use correct, concise contact calls, speaking in third person more commonly ie "capo is entering the atc", and in general concentrating on what other people are saying, and making sure they answer when a relevant question is being asked. Your own example is fucking 100% perfect of the kind of shit that goes on when people aren't completely in the zone.

3-4 is my favorite. Although I've played with up to 15. It gets a bit hectic in the channel and in game if you have more than 4, unless you have good mic discipline. I find it easier to keep it fun if you don't crowd the channel though.

You're probably right, but the ease with which people modified spawnrates in the mod turned out to make things very shit, very quickly. So what's to be done? I mean, putting trust in the admins to maintain good servers that provide and build upon the experience the game is selling itself on didn't work for the mod, so should we brace ourselves for the exact same shit sandwich with SA? I know people like those kinds of servers, but fuck them, there's ARMA 3 for that. Private Hives bring a lot of good things with them, the inability to server hop and ghost, for example. But with that comes admins who compete to have the easiest server in order to scoop up as much of the population as possible. -

As long as 3000 vehicles, donor loadouts, spawn with weapons, and increased weapon spawns are banned, I don't mind. Increased weapon spawns includes adding barracks' to places barracks' shouldn't be. For the most part, those were all scripts, not mods, but as far as I know, that's what everyone means. -
Hey, I just wanted to say fuck yes, well done. I had previously been worried that lack of high end loot would keep players on the coast, but it seems that in this patch, AKMs, M4s and high capacity vests are barracks/heli spawns only. Thankyou, my group has been running around all day trying to get AKs and we've been seeing loads of people along the way. Haven't seen this many people inland since the mod. I'm so happy I wasn't even mad when my game crashed at the pavlovo military hospital and my char ran off the roof.
