This is a terrible idea, Private hives will solve the hopping issue, and I'm imagining the global loot respawn system will aswell.

Yes, it is frustrating when you're enemy has you at a complete disadvantage, it's your job to put them in a position where you're at the advantage. If someone is waiting for you in a camo building, wait for them to come out.

G3's are pretty commonly used throughout the world, and as the there was a rebellion on before Zday I don't see why they wouldn't be getting guns shipped in from all over. You aren't wrong, but it'd be pretty hard to balance, PU scope gets fixed and we start to see DMRs spawning in residential areas. Ya I forgot to add into my original statement, that the G3 should come first, as we have limited guns currently, but I'm not against the SVT-40 being added at some point. The Steyr Aug would be a great addition on the assault rifle level.

While it would, it's too similar to the SKS aesthetically, I'd like the g3 to be added before the SVT-40, or the CETME sporter.

That's potatoed, if they were going to promise a stable gameplay experience they wouldn't have released the alpha. I suffered one character reset, and it seems to be a result of logging into a recently started server immediately, which happens. Too bad if you decide to ignore the disclaimer, it's still telling you "hey this doesn't work properly!", deciding not to take notice doesn't change that. Go and put some onions, carrots, potatoes and beefstock into a cold pot of water, eat it, and then tell me why you can't call that an enjoyable stew.

I hope so, it's not really necessary for sniping if they fix the PU scope's zoom, and allow the PU to range up to 800 as the irl model would (it can go up to 2000). I would have thought the carbine would take the LRS, but apparently not yet. Hopefully a remington 700/r700 variant makes it in game, OR the sv-98, as that's a beautiful and under represented gun outside of the battlefield series. edit- both the m24 and the sv-98 should be in game. -
It's in the alpha disclaimer. Noone's getting punished, it'll take 2 hours (max) to get fully geared again, and for that we get to delete every hacked mag, all the duped gear, a whole bunch of shit. Yes some people have had their characters for months, and that's no small achievement, but your character can get deleted simply by bugging out when you log in, so.....

I try and mix it up with the civi's every life, the only thing that is constant for my characters is a blue hat of some kind. I must have the blue hat, and will not wear any other. One of my favorite combos is Black wool coat ttsko pants black combat boots brown gloves blue radar cap and either chest holster with leather sack, or tac vest with leather courier bag Makes me feel like I'm IRA.

I very much doubt they're going to elaborate on Dayz lore, as we're all survivors and have no clue what caused the outbreak, just that it didn't kill us outright. It's part of the fun, everyone has the ability to create their own theory. -

Ya I feel they need to make the crafting recipe a bit harder, at the moment it's too easy to get a decent, brown colored improv bag, when in reality, a real backpack should be better in every way. That being said, the 20 slots is a good size, I wouldn't want it any bigger, you've made this backpack out of animal skin and string, unlikely it's the best workmanship. So yeah, keen for them to add some components to the leather sack recipe and fix the funky animations.

This is not a solution. Gibz, this is retarded, and has the potential to spawn people in really shitty situations that they have no way of preparing for. If you want to keep people on the one server wait for private hives, which are coming.

While gloves aren't exactly a game changer, cosmetic additions are always nice, so ladies and gentleman, I give you - The hobo glove! I ask you! What survivor in a cold climate such as chernarus is complete without a pair of fingerless gloves?! Colors range from the standard black, brown and green, and delve deeper into the spectrum with the ever classy navy blue and of course rainbow and hello kitty! Support me, and you to will no longer have to take off those cumbersome work gloves in order to roll a cigarette, do your shoelaces and it goes without saying, play the piano!

They've increased the sway, frankly it's a bit intense, I'm all for accurate representations of gun sway but at the moment I couldn't hit a bull on the ass with a shovel. Double binding should help.

Will we eventually get different reloading 'tiers'?

SKS stripper clip loses if you have more than 1 or 2, other than that it's good to have the option of at least one quick reload in a stressful situation. In fact it's saved my life a couple of times. They should totally have to different reload animations for clips/mags and loose rounds, especially in the case of the SKS. -
They all have different clothes entirely, what do you suspect has been duped?

Cars will be hard to find and involve looking for specific parts, which will mean exploring. Choppers etc if they get added in, will be extremely hard to get running, and as the flying system will be based on Take on helicopters, probably result in the deaths of many a hard working survivor, as learning to fly will largely be trial and error.

That's what you get for being weak and gearing up on an empty server. Although that does happen occasionally, I would suggest not sprinting indoors, or upstairs indoors, the atc and firehouse are bad for that kind of thing. 5. Read 2, and then tell us why you let him get that close? Try wearing a motorbike helmet next time. 6. It sounds like you made some poor navigating decisions or wanted to go somewhere really far. To be honest, the distances in dayz are part of the game, without vast distances and time invested in characters, you character loses value which takes away from a lot of what Dayz has to offer. Yes, you work 8 hours a day, and that's not nothing. But if you don't want to play dayz, then don't. -
The north and North west could do with some extra points of interest, that's fine with me. What I really want to know is where the hell are they going to place the large town in the center of the map? We already have Novy, Stary, and Vybor, I don't understand how they're going to fit a large town into the center without throwing off the wilderness dynamic.

It's actually pretty much perfect the way it is. All I want in addition is an amount of time survived, as well as my longest amount of time survived. Dayz isn't the game for death animations, or kill cams. Just because it's in alpha doesn't mean some features aren't already finished.

NWAF/Vybor milbase are pretty good for contact, as they're probably the easiest to get to big military installations.
