    Just checked with one of the other admins, he said theres someone hacking on there and when someones hacking the server get stopped for a while as no one wants to play on a server with hackers, it jusr ruins it for everyone else. It will be started again soon **UPDATE** Ive restarted the server

    HP DL380 G3 Dual Xeon 2.4Ghz Rackmount Server 2GB RAM If so how many slots could it handle? Thanks

    Yes thats to run a 50slot server tho, i know it wont be able to run a 50slot but could maybe run a 30 slot???

    Well with only 3 players you cant connect the server to dayz hive so in otherwords no game, the hive stores where you last logged out where things spawn, where cars are kept where your tent was pitched etc. Id use google and read the pinned thread about hosting your own server

    You could host a server yourself but it wouldnt be connected to dayz hive, and unless you have a leaseline then your domestic broadband would never cope with the amount of bandwidth this game chews through. If it did you would be limited to a really small number of players

    They dont allow this but there are people out there running servers and a private hive database

    I kick if youve been sat in the lobby 5 mins or longer otherwise your taking up slot for people that want to play the game rather than sitting in the lobby while they go do there shopping etc
