Its true that most admins are good. But man what you read in certain forums is downright disgusting. Some are disabling battle eye for a short time to use scripts on their servers :\ But anyhow. DayZ guys will have a say about it eventually.

Na man so far I'm fine with you as a host and will keep supporting. I've got a lot of good feedback from the players on the server and it seems like everyone is happy so far. So it can only get better :) If you need any help with the website I'm a Screendesigner and am always up for supporting a good project.

I don't understand why such things are never communicated. So far I have very mixed feelings about the host. Sometimes it's just great and other times it leaves me with a sour taste. Like I'm hosting with a guy that's just doing this part time 1-2 hours after he comes home from work. But I give u the benefit of the doubt. When it runs, it runs great.

You should all just learn to accept the fact that new patch = new problems. That's how it goes. Why make yourself unhappy? If you're the kind of player that gets angry when stuff like that happens take yourself 1-2 days and wait it out. Rocket & crew will powerfix this shit. That's what I do. I just monitor my server and read the forums.

Yep. Download the BERCon.exe from Battle Eye and log into your server. To write everyone on the server use: say -1 yourmessage

Is there a reason why some people are able to write in side and groupchat on my server?

Just restartet my server and it went from day to night. Anyone know why that is happening? And how many times should I restart per day? And I can see some people are able to write in side and groupchat. Is there a setting for it where I can disable that?

U guys should really make use of the website and put important messages in the promo banner at the top and link to the thread from there. Forum and frontsite are really tedious / lacking...

You know that's the beauty of the modding community. I'm not saying rocket doesn't deserve all the money in the world. But that's precisely why BIS and many others put systems in place that allow for it. So people with a vision like rocket can give us something great. That's why it's here for. Little indie teams doing mods. Think Counter-Strike! A privat team put it together and Valve took the mod and hired some of the original mod devs. There was a shitton amount of mods back in the day. Boah too many names to mention pop into my head. I foresee DayZ to have a similar future like Natural Selection. Such a great mod for Half Life 1 that is being today developed as a stand alone game. And not unlike rocket they were and still are very much in touch with their community. Looking back you were actually able to follow how they put together their own company and kept you updated about even the smallest features with people donating for something that would come to fruit years later (this summer <3 <3 <3 )
