Actually I am happy with how dayz is ment to be played. I won't shoot on sight unless the situation calls for it, but I don't cry when I let someone get the drop on me.Also, you do have the right to play how you want in this sandbox, but so do the guys who prefer to play as the people that eat you. You can't scream about playing the way you want while shunning people that play the way they want.

Sorry you died in a game with a focus on surviving both players and the environment. To use your mindset: grow up and realize shit happens. If you want a pve game, left for dead 2 still has a decent amount of action.

Wouldn't being handcuffed and shot mean the guy surrendered instead of attacking people he saw? I would like to be able to tell how someone died however, maybe even to the point of knowing what calibur shot him. Rubbing someone down might be best left for your imagination while roleplaying the good guy strip searching someone.

Deer don't travel in herds (groups of 3-5 rarely) and they do not roar.While they do need to add a bonus to hunted food like they had in the mod, it sounds like some need to buy trophy hunter 2014

Beta is for bug fixes, alpha is for introducing features and game breaking bug fixes. Don't get attached to gear or chars, you will lose them eventually. Don't server hop and you won't get the 60 second wait. Not playing for a year might be good if you ignored the warnings that this is alpha and there will be bugs/wipes/crashes/etc.

Probably hitting experimental servers vs stable. They are on the same patch so it is easy to mix

As far as experimental servers, stable is on the same patch which is why they are showing up. For the rest...welcome to alpha. Might I suggest a break until beta or release?

Restart computer and play on non persistence servers. You literally cannot swing a dead cat without hitting several backpacks, cans of food, ammo sources, and weapons.
