Agree with OP. But as stated, you can simply take the right server. (meaning no 3rd enable) And currently this is kind of great because most the people like to play on regular setting with 3rd view enabled, meaning, most of the "hardcore" servers are most of the time half-full while regular almost full. Oh and personnaly, I survived much longer on HxC servers, so IMO It's a win :)

It's totally random. I happened to swim by accident last day when getting out of a boat too early and start swimming for at least 20 sec... As I was fully aware of this bug I already begun to cry over teamspeak and about the internet conspiration and how mad I was and how painfull this day was going to be and then... Then nothing happened, I just got back on my feet, with full gear. Was like "mmmh, nope" *touch wood* -

Can an old camping tent be saved from disappearing after death?

I dunno, with the old version, even after death, our tents seems to stay forever (+3 weeks, never disappear) So I have no idea with the current version but IMO I would say I'm pretty confident that tents still buggy, "in the good way" :) Any confirmation would be welcome! -

Kind of boring IMO. Get hire as guard, mercs or dunno, start guiding tour for newb, help scavenge people who need stuff for their big project, zum Beispiel : http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=17572 Or take a break and come back later/next updates, enjoy the last games you could not have finished before starting DayZ ;)

Everything beeing said. So much stuff and risking around doens't make sense. Even more with 2x NVG. I highly suspect the guy to be a "soft hacker", no mass killing just spawned instant kewl stuff for player hunting. And yeah, the m17 ain't in loot sheet so I highly doubt it's legit, picture or not. If you like the gun, the M4a1-SD would be an equivalent. Try it but at your own risks, you've been advertised. :)

Weird. My friends and I do this with each other all the time. We're real life friends so we can atleast trust eachother that far. Never had that happen, could be dumb luck tho. Same, never experienced this problem.

Yes, it still happens time to time, same for vehicle or tents. Still, I was wondering if now you die and as they fix tent duplicate, will your tent really last only 48h? :) -
