Suggestions for the defibrillator
McChoppy replied to Heeeere's johnny!'s topic in General Discussion
I for one would like it to revive dead people even if they have been shot. It introduces an interesting gameplay mechanic for team or group play. Imagine dragging or carrying a buddy to cover in the middle of a fire fight, happens all the time in Invade and Annex and it is quite exciting. Having the ability to revive dead players will not break the combat of DayZ:SA because it is already broken. At the slightest indication that someone might die they just log. If anything the defibrillator will help with the logging problem. People will be less likely to insta-log if they know a group mate could revive them if they die. From server hopping to insta-logging immersion is pretty much already broken. To argue that the ability to revive dead players is game breaking is at this point a straw man argument. The defibrillator will increase the entertainment and play-ability of DayZ:SA. -

I got teleported and killed people without touching my mouse

So, I downloaded DayZ Origins with DayZ Commander and joined The Gaming Cabin DayZ Origins server. When the game was getting ready to launch steam asked if I wanted to use my Arma 2 OA cd key or one of the keys for the various other Arma 2 expansions, which is odd it normally doesn't ask this. I didn't select any of the keys and closed the window the game then launched normally. After spawning in and looting with a couple buddies for several minutes, my screen flashed like it does when you change clothes. All of a sudden I was face to face with one of my buddies and shooting him in the face with my makarov even though I was not touching my mouse or key board. I then got kicked by battle eye for setpos() or something like that. I logged in again and picked up a makarov, got teleported 100m, fell over dead, and got kicked for setpos() again. My friends said I then went on a wild killing spree with an AKS Kobra. I got on the servers teamspeak and their admin said they had evidence I was hacker. He said I shot myself in the head with a makarov and looted items from my body, but at that time I was already kicked from the server and sitting at the main menu. He also asked why I have two GUIDs and I told him I don't know. My computer is private and only I use it and I do not own multiple copies of Arma 2. I was able to log onto the same server later, so I am not banned. But, I am wondering if my cd keys are compromised and if there is anything I should do.
