57 hours logged. Died at least 20 times. Longest character on Standalone - 2 weeks (Died to an epic 3rd story glitch) Current character going on 18 hours and I have to say after getting geared and setting up shop with the Mosin. I've killed 4 and at least 25 people logged out when I shot at them. Mostly missed shots. I have only had 4 people stick around to die. All in all I guess there are just more cowards than players. I don't mean to offend anyone but seriously I just put in an all night session and practically everyone I see logs out or tries to ghost you. Maybe play something else that suits you're play style? Sitting at Balota peering through some windows for a perfect vantage point. I am a lone wolf and threats get shot on sight. I hope I meet some more players that stick around to die.

fresh spawn me came running to two guys with m4s no big deal they were heading to elektro im like "hey hows it going" "elektro pretty full of bandits" bam the one guy spins around and shoots me... I could really care less as a fresh spawn haha. But these two commandos are planning on taking elektro on a full server. Get real. I just wanted to say hi but it is apparent the quality of the community has taken a serious downward spiral. This game relys on player interaction. What to do when no one interacts with strangers. Bored wanna take pot shots at disappering targets? Hit the North East Airfield and peer through the jail windows from a distance and shoot all the greedy server hoppers. I can't believe after about two hours of chilling on the hill and watching I have seen at least 15 people log in here and loot then log out across the way. Bunch of sorry losers can't play or search for gear like a regular player, and then you shoot at them and they disappear. Fucking outrageous amount of pussies are in this game. Well after logging a few hours in both first and third person. I see no point in playing third person. I set my FoV to the start of the O in "Field Of View" and been playing on first person servers since. I just had to find that sweet spot.

Third person perspective is nice, I don't mind it. It is more of an experience in first person. How many other games does your player, in first person have a body? You can always hold ALT if you want to feel safe always looking around.

I've been playing on an Intel/Nvidia rig. happily switched a few years back. I'm glad I did. The old tower is rocking an e6300 o/c @ 3.5ghz with 2gb ram. ATI-x1600pro 512mb video. windows xp. straight outta 2006. It still works. but not for newer games. Anyhow its all about personal preference.
