    Sewers/ Storm Drains

Yes thats more what i had in mind, changed the topic name a bit. This can actually get quite interesting with poison gas and no air in some tunnels. Lets say most of the main tunnels has a little bit of airflow and has oxygen in, here players can be as long as they want, but then some tunnels will not have airflow so have no oxygen. Then lets say you can hold your breath for 30sec while running, if you don't reach the other side you will pass out, then someone has to drag your body out within 60sec or else you die or something like that. Then tunnels with poison gas in should be only enterable with a gas mask. Could get quite fun, hope the new engine supports underground structures :D.

    Sewers/ Storm Drains

I was thinking about how it might be nice to add sewers/ storm drains to the game. It will just add another aspect to moving around in big cities, all cities doesn't need to have it, just like cherno or electro. The basic idea will be that there is a bunch of manhole around the towns, and they will all be linked up with tunnels, so say you are at cherno church, you can get in a manhole and move all the way over to the apartments underground. The thing about this is its gonna change how people move a lot. It will give a bunch of people that are fired upon and pinned down the chance to get out to safety, although it might not always be that safe. In the end i think it will be quite a nice addition to DayZ. Ive added a poll just to see how many people would like something like this and how many people wont.

    Camelbacks

It should almost be like camping tents, not too common but if you look for one you gonna find one. Maybe a bit more common than tents even imo.

    Camelbacks

Well technically you should be able to toss any drink in there, i mean even if you end up mixing water and pop, this is DayZ, a zombie apocalypse, luxury isn't a priory :D Can you guys please maybe highlight this post for him plz :D And about how common camelbacks are in real life, you should find a store who sells them at most shopping malls. I live in South Africa and all outdoor shops has them, and even some supermarkets.

    Camelbacks

Yea I went a bit far into detail, but I just want to show by that how it can be made to be either a simple add on or a complicated one, but i think either way it would be nice to have in game :)

    Camelbacks

Hi, so I've been thinking that Camel-backs can have a nice place in this game. If you don't know what a Camel-back is: It is basically a water sachet that you put in your backpack, then you have a pipe that you hang somewhere so that it can reach our mouth, so you just bit and suck the valve to drink water. They are most commonly used in 3 liter sizes So that will be the basics of a camel-back, but adding it to the game, there is a lot of aspects that can and in my opinion needs to be looked at. How you use it: You should be able to fill it like any water bottle. You should also be able to drain water bottles into it. The boiling process can be made the same as a water bottle. Then if it is in your inventory OR your backpack, it should drain at a constant rate, but as it is draining (while there is still water inside) your water icon should stay full. The drain rate should be determined as 1 liter of water from a water bottle keeps you going for say 2 hours, then the camel-back should drain from full to empty in 6 hours. So basically what will happen is you will fill it up and your hydration icon will say full green trill the camel-back is empty. Inventory slots: A water bottle take 1 slot and it holds 1litre, so if the camelback is 3litre it would be obvious to make it use 3 slots BUT: As you drink it the whole thing deflates and it becomes smaller. So it should take 3 slots when 67-100%, 2 slots when 34-66%, and 1 for 0-33%. For this, you need to be able to right click on it and select a option to drink the next segment, so basically to drink it to be a slot smaller. This option should not be available if it is already <34%. Also if you only have 1 or 2 slots open in your inventory you should be able to fill only 1 or 2 parts. There can also be added another realistic feature: If you decide to drink a segment, then depending on how much water was left in that segment, you will not drink from it for a certain time then. Let me explain: If you drink a segment and it was 100% full, then for e.g. the next 20min the camelback wont drain, but your hydration will stay full as well, and when THE SEGMENT was 50% full then the time should be 20min. This should be because if you drink like 1 liter of water you not gonna drink again for a little while, you are going to be full. So to summarize we have: Takes 1-3 inventory slots. Holds 3 liter. Lasts as long as 3 water bottles would. Automatically keeps hydration full, and drains by itself. Option to drink segment if more than 34% full, decreasing the inventory size by 1. What do you guys think?
