(I'd been playing on this server for a few days and had never encountered a scripter/hacker before, even the admin himself claimed the server was invincible to those types of things.) I heard some shots when riding a bike through the woods the other day, they sounded pretty far away so I didn't think anything of it. (I was in the middle of nowhere) I ride past a few trees and next thing I know I'm being shot at by an MG, I got off my bike and hid behind a tree (had an M14) and I popped the bastard. At this point I thought "What are the chances of someone just being out here ready to ambush me? It's not like I announced my location." (Note that the guy who killed me had died about 5 minutes earlier and where I was was not a spawn location and there is no way he could just find an MG and manage to get out where I was that quickly) I then rode for a little while longer and was heading for the NWAF, I stopped the bike off on a random dirt track because I heard a heli, it flew right overhead but didn't stop, I then proceeded to type into chat something like "Man, it's intense when a heli flys over you, you don't know if its after you or someone else." I got back on my bike and started to ride when I was suddenly shot at with another MG, this time from right behind me. He actually hit me and I jumped off my bike with a broken leg, I took a few shots at him but he wasn't there, I quickly looked side to side to make sure he hadn't moved position within the treeline, all of a sudden he came charging from my right side even though there was no way he managed to get out there into the open to get to me. He quickly shot me and I was killed. I furiously typed "Man, that's some bullshit!" into sidechat after I had respawned and he said something like "Oh sorry man, my friend had told me someone killed him out here on a bike and I saw a white flash go past me so I assumed you were the killer". About 10 minutes later after I had gathered some things, the guy who killed me starts saying in sidechat "Anybody who can guess the number I'm thinking of gets a reward!" Nearly everyone in the server was guessing, coincidentally (or was it) , I won. (The answer was 72) I was then teleported to the NWAF where there was this guy in the exact same clothes as the guy who killed me and he had my weapon I had before I died, he aims his gun at a huey and types "Take it" I climbed in and it was fully repaired and fueled. He then disappeared, I assume he teleported. Totally hidden secret message.

Figured it did, I prefer Banditry anyway, held up a random person in a field the other day, I had a Lee Enfield with barely anything else, he had an M4, NVG, GPS and well, everything really. Made him drop all his stuff and then I watched him run away whilst I took random shots at him, (not intending to hit him of course, just to scare him)

A day or so ago I heard sniper shots in Cherno, my first reaction was to get down and take cover. I did, then I heard some zombies and saw a few of them run towards a large building. I knew that this building was the one where all the snipers camped up on. I sneaked around to the other side and begun climbing the ladder, halfway up the game automatically stopped me to step onto the platform, I took this chance to reload my AKM. I climbed to the top and heard a few more shots and thought "The sniper must be around the other side of the wall/fire escape thing that is on top of the building." I ran around the other side like a mad man and looked around, the sniper was just at my feet, fully equipped with a Ghillie Suit and DMR. So I shot him, thinking that his death would save a few other peoples lives. I have asked myself plenty of times after this event, "Does that make me a bandit?". EDIT: Just wanted to point out that this Sniper had shot and killed about five people whilst I was on my way up the building.

Thank you, would I just download the mod from the main dayzmod website and be able to play (I know you have to play Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead once before playing DayZ) or would I have to download it and then have to move some files around or can I just start up the game and play DayZ, also is it necessary to download one of the 2 programs Six Launcher and DayZCommander or can I just play it without one of those.

So I am considering getting this Mod (and by considering I mean I MUST get this mod) but I don't have Arma 2 Combined Ops. My only question is a really simple one that probably didn't deserve its own thread, but I didn't know where else to ask this question as there a pretty much zero videos on youtube of this. My question is: If I was to buy Arma 2 Combined Operations from my local store, (not the Steam version, a actual physical copy) would I still be able to play DayZ and If I could, how would I install it and such?
