why are all the posts of people posting pictures of hackers being deleted?
-
FUNNY... http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/155220-are-there-cars-anywhere-already/
-
cars from arma 2 were fine.... here we go again taking 10 steps back leave the cars on arma 2, work on fixing the hacking!
-
I died to a hack...someone using an un detectable engine hack, super gun...shot the building 1 shot and I was crushed and died...
-
listen its well known the hacks work for SA, and the fact that the evidence of the hack, which was just a screen shot, was deleted, speaks volumes that hacks are real, and they are trying to make it seem like there is no hacking,
-
like thats going to stop the hacking...
-
because they dont want to truth to come out of the game, its got bugs and its 10 steps backwards from the mod. so they suppress the truth..to make a quick dollar
-
Come play on dayz stalker. I have 2 hours day 1 night 3 hour restarts, so in 3hour period u get night and day...
-
how can a server admin 1) stop server nukes 2) look in log files to see who nuked
-
Ok i get it.. its alpha.. but this is worse than the mod.

I do play the mod, because for the most part it has anti hack protection.... again, locking or deleting feedback of the game, when its negative, will only show the dayz team is trying to silence people. The next update should block the hacks, if not, whats the point of the game if its got massive vulnerabilities -
when people start to realize the game is just to a quick buck and no effort was or is being put forward to stop hacking, people will feel ripped off and leave. at this point, the mod is better then the stand alone, which is again, 10 steps backwards

locking every "negative feed back" thread is basically un fair for those looking for CUSTOMER feedback. i -
seems like they just care about making a quick buck, then actually working on the game or at least, thats what it seems like
-
if it runs on a new engine, how are people hacking like crazy? from what he article says, its a copy and paste of arma engine, so where is your proof that its a new engine...evidence shows, they copy and pasted and called it a stand alone
-
who says dayz isnt meant to have? dayz is a mod of a arma game...keep that in mind.... its not its own game. its a copy and paste of an army game... some people like action and shooting, not looking for empty soda cans... and its only right to give people a load out, considering a hacker can come on and spawn stuff since dayz SA has no protection against Anti hacks
-
_already_happening/ i quote: well...shit, but not surprising, the sooner the better i guess. it hasnt been 2 dayz brah.... this game has been being developed , as an alpha, on arma 2 since august 2012

FUNNY THING IS, IT IS LOGICAL .....SEEMS LIKE THEY DONT WANT TO FIX IT... THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO STOP HACKS FOR OVER A YEAR AND HALF ON THE MOD, AND THIS HAS CARRIED OVER TO STAND ALONE Turns out the whole client-server architecture premise was just bogus - the only thing they've changed is the range of data the client receives as demonstrated by this picture http://cdn.dayzblog.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/daydaily-update-on-server-bublbe.jpg but scripts are still working, there is no anti-cheat active as of yet ( not battleeye nor VAC ) and writing and reading from process memory is also working still ( as in undetectable external ESPs ) which means even if they enable VAC and battleeye - hackers will still run rampart.
-
yeah i logged off also, couldnt stand the hacking... but guy...this isnt day 2... On August 7, 2012, Dean Hall announced at the game's development blog[12] that the mod was going to be made into its own game, with Bohemia Interactive as the developer,[13][14] and himself as the project leader.[15][16][17] On October 29, 2012, development of the mod officially transferred to a largely community driven effort with the release of version 1.7.3.[18]
-
but ... but the hacking has been going on since the mod, and the dev team did nothing to stop or fix the hacks... what are they going to do to stop the hacks now?
-
nah, its an alpha is not an excuse for the hacking that plagues stand alone, like it plagued the mod
-
of course they are hacks, one guy here got a thread deleted for posting "working stand alone dayz hacks" so working hacks are out there.... god mod hack is out.. this has not been able to be stopped , or even detected....even in the MOD..admins are forced to "watch" players to catch hacks... engine hacks, dont get picked up and are undetectable.... I was just on a server, where a hacker was shooting down trees and destorying buildings to create lag. basically a hacker uses an engine hack to destory buildings, and all you see is smoke over and over again, creating server lag this has been going on since the mod mind you
-
could be a hacker came on the server, used an engine hack to destroy some buildings and that would create lag
-
no one has answered my question.. what are they doing to stop the hacks? Any word? I dont think "its an alpha" is a valid excuse for the hacks.... because with the MOD, they didnt do ANYTHING to stop the hacks... if it wasnt for the anti hacks thats out ( created by third parties) dayz would NOT be a very fun experience... hacking would be unstoppable, and for the most part, with engine hacks, they are unstoppable also, why are they deleting so many posts? Hacking is a very serious issue, and I think between the hacking and the bugs, its going to create people leaving... To be honest, the hacks in theory, should be blocked. or is dean and team going to leave it up to another team to stop the hacks?
-
When do you think Private Hives will be supported
piffaroni replied to rooniedoo's topic in General Discussion
maybe if they spent some time working how to block hacks... oh wait, i forgot, that would actually be WORKING on the game -
Charging people money to help you "make" a game....
piffaroni replied to jBrick's topic in General Discussion
many, many games get released as gold with bugs. so basically, just about any game out there has bugs and needs to get fixed. how is it a major step forward when the MOD is more stable? hmmm>?
