Nice tip on moving targets. I very rarely hit them on the run even though it's quite comical watching them flee as I'm trying to take them out....lol. Next time I'll just wait for them to stop moving. :)

I think you underestimate the number of players that would quit if defecation was added to the game.

Exactly! Adding defecation into the game would serve ABSOLUTELY no purpose other than another form of abuse if there are already other ways to spread diseases being planned. Anyone who wants this only wants it for abusive purposes no matter how hard they try to justify it.

Mitigating the abuse doesn't make it a good feature. This whole idea is terrible IMHO.

God help us! I love the game but in all seriousness if that ever made it in I would probably quit playing. That really is over the line.

Wait..... we aren't talking about auto-run at double-tap sprint speed? I know that's what I'm talking about. Auto-run at jogging speed would be just painful to watch. I'd rather break my fingers and go full sprint than just jog across that massive map. :P

I don't have any problems with lag on full servers. Not sure what's causing your issues, but it's all good on my end.

I recently made a macro on my Razer Naga to allow me to autorun in DayZ. BEST DECISION EVAR! :D

I just had an epic battle with a soldier zombie at one of the military bases. All I had was a splitting axe and that motherfucker was tough. We ran circles around each other and I must've hit him a dozen times including a few shots to the head and that bastard just kept goin. At one point when he finally dropped I went to grab a bandage to stop the bleeding and he just got back up again for more! All I can say is thank god there was only one of them guarding those bunkers or I never woulda survived.....lol. :D

Just found a pair of pristine binos on the cargo ship! Did not expect to see these yet. Very nice surprise indeed! :D

I found one on the cargo ship once but threw it away as soon as I found a proper assault vest. The anti-stab vest just doesn't have enough slots for me. :(

Any chance we can get a "History" list that's sorted in order from the last server you were on? Maybe it's just me but that "History" list seems pretty darn random. :(

I think the amount of info they're giving us about updates and such is more than adequate. Trust me I'm as information hungry as the next guy but sometimes we just need to give them some space. They're working on it. Hounding them for more info does nothing to help speed things up.

The great thing about consoles is that you can create a shit-tonne of games that are all basically the same thing and people will still buy them. There's room for more than just 1-2 zombie MMO's. ;)

If H1Z1 is exclusive to Playstation then DayZ would be the perfect competitor with Xbox.

As I've said before DayZ will obviously come out on the next-gen consoles. They'd be fools not too and it's only a matter of time. I'll stick with the PC version though until it comes out on Xbox One.

Obviously it will come to consoles eventually. They'd be fools not to port it over. That being said it will be years from now so I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll stick with the PC version until then. :)

I use the DayZDB map as well for figuring out range. I can consistently 1-shot targets at 500-600m with an LRS Mosin. My longest is maybe 800m tops. I can't imagine hitting anything further than that. Then again I've just started sniping in the last 2 weeks. :)

Shhh.... I like being out there in the middle of the map with all the lootz to myself. Don't give them any ideas.;)

I found an anti-stab vest at the shipwreck the other day. As well as a pristine press vest. But I ended up throwing them both away because they didn't have enough slots. :( Now fire axes on the other hand. I used to find those all over the place. Haven't seen one in the last 30 hours of playtime. Did they nerf the spawn rates on the fire axes or something? Sheesh.

How about the fact that you can open a door on the 1st floor when you're standing in a room above it on the 2nd floor? Always makes me chuckle when I see that. But anyways, yeah doors are totally buggered right now. :P

I know I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but I honestly love playing PC games with an Xbox controller. I tried Xpadder on the original DayZ mod and couldn't get a comfortable setup with it so I abandoned it. But I just found this vid on YouTube and thought I might give it another shot. Posting this for any other players who prefer controllers over keyboard/mouse. :)
