There are three things you need to come to terms with when playing this game: 1) You WILL die. 2) It is EXTREMELY unlikely that anything that has occurred in the videos you've seen will happen to you. 3) That asshat that coined 'dayz heroes' was entirely full of shit, and his tips were bad. You could hear the butthurt in his tangents, and no one is going to be your hero unless you find a group who specifically does stuff like that. RRF guys do it, and I've caught a couple of them in the act and gunned them down. I'm sure any other self respecting bandit would do the same.

No, we won't hear you out. KoS isn't an issue that has ever been considered something that should be coded to combat, and it should absolutely never be. When you post ANYTHING suggesting a 'solution' to KoS, you're admitting to have never played the MoD, or never understood the vision of the game's development. If you're continuing to play the game while expecting development changes to enforce a more friendly environment, then you are in for a very bad time.

The 'e' in communicate is silent. Including two more only makes me think you're retarded when I try to enunciate what you type.

I think the issue OP is having here is that people who aren't deaf usually use voice programs as alternative communication to meet up and such. Playing with friends isn't uncommon at all, but there only being direct chat makes it increasingly difficult for deaf players. I don't think re-introducing global chat is the right solution for this, though. I think that implementing groups and group chats would be a more reasonable approach.

I'm holding my breath for 150, like arma2. I really hope that the sale volume gains the team more R&D funding for new hires or equipment for developing/testing server and client optimizations 'cause 150 players in a private hive would make me so, SO happy.

People seem to have a hard time identifying risky behavior. I don't mean other peoples' behavior, I mean their own. Sprinting across fields, through towns, down airstrips, pillaging towns in broad daylight? Time to really think about your actions when you're staring at that black screen. When you die, you should think to yourself "I can't believe I let myself die", not "I can't believe that killed me". Whether you were shot by someone, or mauled by zombies (this is going to become way more common soon hopefully), it was probably entirely avoidable.

Just overheard a conversation about this thread and figured I'd catch up on the thread, as I talk to these guys frequently. It looks like things are being discussed at a rate that addresses server oddities and concerns by players. Except for Aidan. You have no reason to even be posting in this thread. My word that they're dealing with server crashes/outages as much as everyone else is as good as your word that... I don't know... I'd toss in my two pennies and say everyone makes mistakes, and remind the administrator of the serving terms. I was raiding the NW airfield on this server when it went down, though. The admins' words were 'Rocket isn't paying for the server, so these are the rules when you play here'. Which is a clear disregard for the terms that the administrator agreed to. edit: you guys are really going to make him spell it all out exactly? The phrase is in terms of negativity.
