    You clearly haven't played DayZ. How often do you run into friendly players? You can meet an unarmed person and as soon as they find a weapon they'll most likely put a bullet in the back of your skull. The point of the lone wolf playstyle is because you can't trust anyone.

    Mental maturity for sure. Might as well add, I can't stand people with high pitched voices, usually younger kids.

    You should get good FPS. I use Radeon 7570D on high and manage around 30FPS.

    I have a question, when was the last time you restarted your PC? For some reason DayZ was going like 3 fps for me and I just restarted my PC and bam, it was working again.

    Since you've posted this three times. DayZ requires ArmA: 2 and ArmA: 2 Operation Arrowhead. You can buy these together as a deal on Steam the deal is called "ArmA: Combined Operations" it doesn't matter where you bought the games. As long as you own both.

    The hatchet is something you should never forego. It's common and can fit on your toolbelt. It's a silent killer, you have to be sure to be accurate. The zeds can be lost over hills and such. Tip: carry 3-4 bandages, never hurts.

    Wandered through Chernarus not knowing where I was, "Oh look! It's the Firstation I must be in Elektro" head in there about 4 guys we head outside and I find a Ghillie suit in the toll booth. We ran for a while until we finally just lost each other and zombie killed me.

    When I purchased DayZ I stuck to no PvP servers so I didn't get the caution reflex. Well I've been on regular servers recently. I found a UAZ and I have to say having a vehicle is not really worth it. You're extremely obvious and getting out to loot or something is extremely suspenseful. The only benefit is gear space and faster traveling. What's your opinion on vehicles?

    I've always seen bikes as the best choice, but oddly enough with all the vehicles I've found I've only ever found a bike once on Taviana and it was damaged and went like 2MPH.

    Hopefully in the standalone the melee weapons are more reliable and better for taking out Z's.
