    There's already enough camping at high loot areas. Adding a safe zone would be ungodly.

    I've probably had ten encounters with players in the standalone in one hour of gameplay. Each one was the same, I hide behind a wall in 3rd person and tell them I'm there and that I won't attack unless they do first. Haven't been killed by a player yet.

    I've spent most of the time I've played DayZ on "No PvP servers" primarily because I can't stand to play it solo and I do not have many friends who play DayZ. So, I want to join a group or have a home server. Preferably both. Any recommendations? If you say Balota Buddies, you die.

    A tree. I could sit there for days and then, a bandit with a sniper comes. I would then use my tree limbs to choke him to death.

    The all knowing thermal snipe rifle is gone, it now has a holo sight. IF you play at night NVG is almost necessary .
