Even tho standalone is pretty much a 'port' of the current mod we still know very little about anything. They arent releasing jack shit for info on anything. When the dev blogs start blatently 'avoiding' realeasing info by trying to distract us(ie. the animations video) you can kind of guess theyre waiting for a specific moment to release the beefy stuff. My point... We dont know anything. All i can confirm is that there is no loot piles. The inventory system is completely overhauled. Frankieonpc has confirmed he has been in contact with the devs and will have permission to release videos when the game is in closed testing. Thats what im waiting for for info.

nah, as long as you didnt hack a weapon in personally you'll be fine. Even if you did hack the weapon in the chances of getting banned are like .0000001% so just play.

Topic pretty much says it all. My name is Niall, im from Ireland and im 26 years old. I have a long history of gaming including countless FPSs and MMOs. I ive been playin since the early days and like to take dayZ seriously at the important times and have fun in the downtime. Basicly i need to find myself a group/partner who are/is serious about gettin into the high end areas often and wanna take part in 'end game'. Can use any voice comms, ts2 preferred. Have 2 characters to play different roles when needed. Things i cannot stand and dont have patience for is disorganisation and spam on comms, this is a must have. Young children on comms. Not sure i havent dabbled with it yet but check the your key bindings in game and see if theres anything thats default bounds to scroll lock and try use that. Alternatively if you have a good mouse with third party software you could try bind a button on your mouse within the third party software to the scroll lock key and that should work as its a bind outside of the game and should act exactly like you clicked scroll lock

Try manually updating battle eye, google it.

Couldnt have said it better myself, while i dont play specifically on 24/7 daytime servers i do avoid night servers. Night time is so black you literally cant see your gun in front of your face, use a flashlight? They suck. Use flares? Also suck. Just make you a big moving target for everything within 1000 meters. The moonlit nights are alot more forgiving and ive often played in moonlight however simply seeing a server is night is enough to make me not play on it. When night time is revamped to be more 'playable' for the lack of a better word i will certainly look forward to playing at night.

Hey all, Ive recently returned to dayz after a couple of months out and im looking for a squad to join. Ideally a mature group very well organised with a certain amount of seriousness when it comes to high end content. I enjoy raiding the high risk areas with organised teammates, hunting down players and of course finding excellent loot. Im 26 years of age, experienced with all weapons, can drive(havent quite mastered flying yet), consider myself serious about gaming but well able to have a laugh when the time is right. Not sure if this is a bug or just really bad programming but if you want to place ur tent here is how... Crouch Open youre gear Right click the tent Hit C You should now be able to move around with your gear open and repeatedly try place the tent youll get eventually when u keep moving
