Yes, but what confuses me is you say they do use former USSR stuff and we only see a Huey and Humvees in the mod? If there was actually large evidence of foreign support why is every dead soldier in an Opfor uniform?

Def want bears at some point. They shouldn't be super aggressive, just territorial at times.

Player animation progression from experience

Maybe later on (because they don't even have all the no cap for taking guns off back with current animations and thing) It's not overly necessary either. -
People wouldn't necessarily walk away from a 7.56 without 'instant' medical attention, and the other thing is it would not a chest multiplier but a vital organ multiplier.

Yep, u read my stuff well.Not many can decode my English. I like this sort of idea because it not only means you are tied to a couple roles at once which makes it harder for that guy on sniper hill in a ghillie to get the stuff he has alone. That guy wanna heal? He gotta put tools away at base, and if his car goes put put brghh... he's walking home unless he can get to be friendly for a wee bit. It puts greater emphases on teamwork and gives everybody a place in their team, usually its just separated by who's the best sniper or pilot, now its who has the tools for this car! Or I need some blood! -

If anything they should have rare books that you can learn special tricks from, like ammo reloading or nitrate cooking (homemade explosives) like a perk from fallout but from a rare book that can also be taught to others, lets say you have friendly encounter with a guy, he says your really nice :D I'm going to teach you to turn this fertiliser into a remotely detonated sack of explosive.But even then, I hate the idea of having it so only one quarter of ppl can fly heli's or something, I mean my friends a pretty stable heli pilot and if any of my other friends got the pilot thing from spawn or something I wouldn't feel safe (I know that isn't really what the threads about but its another idea I don't like) -
No I mean flatter clearings really, camo nets for vehicles.Farms stretch for further out with larger forestry patches inbetween the crappy farms. If the map gets bigger... Wouldn't you like a couple bush runways? It would be a nice change from military hangers and Air control towers anyway right?

What does it matter how good the guns are? Everybody has them, it just means instead of being 2HK spam deathed by silly DMR you are taken out by a pistol. Atleast with the buffs the guns will make sense while the game can still be fun.

If you found a gun you'd probably take it.Especially if there was ammo, I'm sure the military would be called in really quick for defence and that would probably bring a lot of military grade weaponry everywhere that people would just use untill they get too dirty to be trustworthy.

I was just thinking so I can have a plane out of the way, then it might actually be a useful reliant vehicle.It's no use leaving it by start sobor when my base is 3km away.

Rocket has talked about a sort of class system that comes naturally by the stuff you choose to carry around.For example one group member might be over watch with sniper etc etc, extra ammo for team since he doesn't so much specialise in anything other than sniping and recon. Another person might be a mechanic carrying mostly tools and spare parts for improvised weapons and car fix ups. The next might be combat medic carrying most of the meds. There is a lot of different things that one could specialise in, and then they could always ,it to cover a wider range while carrying more gear meaning slower moving etc etc. That's personally what I would want, too much useful stuff to carry on your lonesome. If you wanna roll alone you won't be able to carry a lot of ammo and meds or tools kinda thing. Which means you're probably going to have to sacrifice having a vehicle. -
You can argue that's its just a game and isn't meant to be realistic.But I think a lot of people including me want more of a simulation that you can feel immersed in. However one thing that stronger guns would likely cause is increased paranoia and probably lessen the friendly encounters that Me, others and Rocket want.

I like how people are knocked out when shot by snipers. I'd like it to be scaled so that upper chest shots will 1HK with most gun calibers. Then make the 7.56 AKM and stuff guns knock out with abdomen leg and arm shots respectively for their importance. 5.56 won't knock you out as easily as 7.56 and 5.56 damage is seriously depleted by ballistic vests. Chest or rather vital organs like lungs and heart should have a high damage multiplier but not as high as head. Snipers shouldn't always 1HK abdomen arms and protected chest should remain a high blood loss unconscious situation where there is a lot of drama and bandaging blood transfusions in the heat of a battle.

It would just make it far more painful whenever you die from a silly alpha glitch or get shot by a really ignorant bandit :/ -
Not only did he have to stall it, but he also stuffed his plane and he won't be able to get it flying again because of the ledge.Current planes aren't manoeuvrable enough to do a U turn on a road without running into trees, they can't go backwards either. Basically what we need is either smaller planes or larger farms and fields. A couple farm airfields would be welcome IMO, but probably no more in the current map area but rather once the map is expanded.

DayZ is a game, where the effects of an apocalypse should play out like in real life, that to me is what's fun about it (its not a scripted story and whatever happens, happens) Basically what this means is 4/5 people shouldn't feel the need to KOS. I'm not gonna suggest anything be done now... Because we have no idea how the standalone will play out with better zombies. But I personally don't want a death match style game, I'm sure nobody else does and what sort of suggestions do you people have? I'm also going to say that no calm rationally thinking person should have to kill a person in real life unless their own life or an innocents is in instant risk from another person. In that idea of things all murderers technically have something wrong with them unless their decision making process was impaired by something else like drugs or alcohol where things can unexpectedly escalate.

Lol, I guess so. But people that can't work it out probably wouldn't have survived so long in a zombie apocalypse :D

Any large weapons should appear either sticking out of your bag or in your hotbar. This gives pistols and one handed melee weapons the advantage of being concealable meaning lightly armed players can basically passed as unarmed or no threat if they want to. If Rocket brings the naturally evolving class system further then it may be helpful for players to quickly identify where players specialise. Say a guy is a mechanic on his small group of people, some usually KOS guys see his tools and stuff hanging off his bag and belt etc etc. They go, hey buddy we got a broken car, you wanna stay alive your gonna be helping us quickly. Therefore neutral favours are created where a player will grudgingly fix someone's thing by choice because its the safest option. This is sorta like smaller groups having to rely on non killing meetings if they want to progress.
