Even in gta 5 the pump action shotgun reloads 8 shells at a time and the sawwed off has 8 shots even though its 3 times shorter.

I picked up Arma 2 OA in that steam summer sale.Didn't get right into DayZ though, I downloaded the only Arma 2 part first by mistake and ended up playing several days worth of CTI.

With my luck... I'll miss it.And I'll be late for the first day where people aren't shooting each other. Just like I was late for the dayZ community level where bandits robbed people and survivors helped each other rather than gifting each other with new characters.

The advantage of a crossbow over a bow is that you can fire instantly, however... That might be a disadvantage, the drawing of a bow might give you clarity to your thoughts, fix your aim, convince you to pull a knife on this zombie.

Elements from it would be really nice.When running, and I actually mean running down a hill you should take a distance to stop. Same when on strep slopes you should slip, but I'm not talking about sniper hill in Churno, I'm talking more slipping and tumbling when trying to traverse the side of that giant rockface between Churno and Elektro... Or was it north of Elektro? Holstering your firearm should give you better traversing skills as well, looking at the ground should make it almost impossible to trip/ slip on things and if you do you are pretty much instantly corrected. Rolling down rocks or falling into trees should have a high chance of shock 90%, you should also loose minor amounts of blood to simulate small cuts & bruises. You have a chance to break an arm or a leg on an awkward landing or speedy contact with any object on a limb aswell as a major cut possibly severing a artery causing the rate of bleeding we commonly see. In the case of this tumbling feature I'd really expect rag dolling, without that I don't think it should be implemented. Landing head first neck first should break your neck, in which case you should be pretty screwed, temporary partial paralysis?

Why not treat reloading like the bolt cycling of a bolt action. You should be able to instantly reload to a different quiver also allowing for different bolts in different quivers. Then you can also load a quiver with arrows like mags with bullets. Should work the same with coy pound bows & stuff.

Yes, but they should occasionally appear in nature to not instantly set off suspicions, the calls should be slightly louder to their bird counterparts and not attract zombie attention unless you're very close. Maybe with a proper caller the sound could be more accurate or have a fudge up chance where a little tip off that it's actually a person calling that only appears when hand calling and not with a proper caller.

You are implying you are fighting your zombies closely, that is a silly thing to do if you can avoid it IRL in most situations.Unless its shock and awe, which probably wouldn't work on zombies.

What does everybody think? Are Americans fine with getting it last if it means they can actually play it? Are New Zealand Pacifica fine with getting it first :D I sure am. DayZ might need it in all honesty, even though the servers will be all over the world I'm now thinking. They'll definitely need to pull together to help out when it gets a US release.
