Yes, there was, maybe there still is? Even a glitch that you couldn't breath when above the water doing the swimming animation.So basically water was a deathtrap.

HUEHUEHUE.Heli blades are a little bit faster though. It definitely shouldn't explode maybe make the helicopter a bit shaky! loose a bit of altitude and eventually send the parachutist out without a chute. I imagine I would wanna halo out of a heli though.

Can we have some things float? Then we can have a buoy attached to the underwater stash and haul it in with the boat like those crab fishermen. They are bringing in Arma 3 style rain, why shouldn't they be able to bring over swimming, not that I know much about coding. Lots of people think they'd head to sea in a apocalypse... I wonder what sort of complications could become of a sea life. Maybe force a nutrition system on people? Scurvy? Canned fruit?

I just say temporary and fixable because I'd like to be able to fix my good guns.But I was thinking more like a hole in the mag feeder, stopping you from putting a new mag in maybe exploding so some ammo aswell? -

It's about keeping it clean, you don't want a whole lot of burnt powder in you're chamber and barrel alike, guns just work better when they're clean.More commonly when in military use with the stress of a battlefield you can also get blood, dirt, sand/ just about anything in you're receiver and bullets causing jams. Again it depends mostly on cleanliness, older guns may jam more because of design and how enclosed they are. Revolvers rarely ever jam because of how simple their mechanism is, I think things like that should come through. -

You can't change your name in minecraft, it works fine. Unless you buy somebody else's copy and get stuck with a different name than your usuals. But, if we can change it every six months or so it'd be great. -

Gun cleaning as well, it might spawn dirty, it might get dirty after lots of firing, it might get dirty rolling around in the dirt/ sand. -

If you're gun is wet? Jam chance goes up significantly.If you're prone crawling a lot yore jam goes up a bit more, noticeably on dirt (not grass, dirt/ forest floor) and the sandy beech. If you've been shot maybe you're bullets can get dirty/ bloody like on the hurt locker. If you're gun gets shot in the receiver, fixable but temporarily out of operation? in that situation your sidearm would be helpful or you would drop the gun & put your hands up. -
Just because it ain't Merica doesn't mean people don't own guns.They need guns for killing livestock, killing rabbits, killing deer, killing dat sweetroll stealing hick on the rival farm. I'll admit urban houses probably wouldn't have guns like US does, but farm wise they'd be a few guns around, and why not make the place you find them make that much more sense? It shouldn't be a definate spawn though that'd make guns too common.

It's not about the benefit, it's about having a game that is immersive and real.If they wanted to give players that benefit in an untainted way they'd have a cod style radar system that picks up everything on either side if you. But they don't because that'd be really gay. -

For the realistic scope style you describe you need to render twice, once zoomed and once normally.The only game I've seen with it is COD which has some of the most undemanding and small sized maps in recent games I can think of. If they could have both options it could be part of your settings depending on whether or not your PC can handle it. -

Modern vehicles should be all automatic.As it gets older the automatic ness should faze out. Keep it real to the model of vehicle though.

Remove 3rd person in vehicles.Let us "crouch" or lower ourselfs in the seats to avoid being an easy shot for an enemy. The driver should be able to do that but ofcourse he'd have no vision. You should get good protection from the front with the engine block in the way of the bullets, from the side most bullets would penetrate the doors.

This is probably going to appear in the standalone. I don't know why it isn't already there, you can stick a rocket launcher/ rifle/ bag model on his back, some NVGs on his face, but not a pistol on his leg!? There's probably some sort of greater issue with getting this to work...
