I don't think it would be useful.I don't think there should be much ammo around. I couldn't even find ammo for the mod one and there's gonna be even less ammo now. -

I'll just recap. On what I had to say about camps, the forest lying base. Small safes that are reasonably secure but hold little. Less horde mentality. with less hoarding camps are of less material value and people are happy to let strangers join/ pass through knowing safely that there is little worth in them taking stuff or a lot of hassle in taking things down like large open tents and workbenches and stuff. Fences (barbed wire, wooden, stone) and gates to protect from zombies. With strangers coming in/ out people are more pushed to use direct and radio due to convenience. Petrol generators, extension cords, double plug converters and such. For the would be thief it takes ages to dismantle something, store it, and then a car sized vehicle should only be able to fit one dismantled workbench or something. Workbenches, modifying weapons and equipment (cutting down the double barrel). Barbecues, better than fireplaces, more time on cooked/ food doesn't go from cooked to burnt so fast. So instead of loot piles for a passing player (which there will be many of in 100+ servers) camps will serve as more of a communal place of healing, talking, eating, storing small amounts of equipment that don't really fully equip you after dying (such as a pistol and ammo). I think forts or bases should be completely different though, and then underground bases should be more the common hoarders base we see now. -

Left alone It would quickly become a shelter for animals.And the rate at which time passes in dayZ is meant to be speed up. Not in terms of day & night. But a year might be a week of playing or something to simulate how often you would just be sitting at camp surviving In a real world situation. -

Crashes every time after the first game I finish.Loading next map, crash, everytime. I don't really notice it all too much but sometimes you get hit by the same bullet twice. The games client side hit detection is horrendous, I always get shot from around corners by UK players on AU/NZ servers. For some reason the net code doesn't register half the shots or something, I definitely notice that/ something else. -

Yes, you find a locked door and you can be quite sure that there's a zombie on the other side and an unlooted room. Axe and other melee weapons should be able to break doors down. Shotguns should be the most effective for shooting out the lock. Screwdriver & bobby pin like fallout 3? Shotgun is fast but loud, picking is medium speed and silent, axe is medium noise and medium speed. lock picking minigame? Rare safe item spawning, has either a key dropped by a zed in the general area/ a combination which can be guessed, but there will be a note somewhere to hint at it (important date in diary) birthdate. Pick up something to do with owner, which should test your general knowledge at guessing the relevant numbers. Eg. Back to the future 1.21 GW... 88 mph... Things of that sort. Can't take note/ diary. Safe would often contain some money (now junk) a pistol and ammo, some leads to further loot, Easter eggs, other useful things. You could take the safe to you're base and change the code/ keep the key. Maybe you could eat the key? Implement with poop mechanics, counter person eating key by feeding him curry. The safe however would have an appropriate size being 5 or so loot spots and enough room for a pistol. A locked room with a zombie inside it should be a funny sight. Bloodstained walls and greasy broken windows that the zombie might've cut himself on. Immune person with him that got eaten in a pile of blood & bones in the corner. Should be a kinda rare & fun thing to find though. More ideas from me soon. -

That's what I do.I'm thinking 1-2 weeks aswell. In all fairness I expected it to come out the day after they hit 50 players. But it seems to me they're fixing up zombie optimisation a little bit more. Maybe then they'll add a few more players. -

I've been killed by a rock, a door, a hacker, glitching zombies, backstabs.I'm always trying to be friendly but I'm constantly being shot, and to not resort to a typical trust no one bandit I find my patience in people pretty impressive. -
GT 720M I can run arma 3 on ultra with a GTX 660ti You should run ultra with good frames. But I'm no professional.

I wouldn't like random sounds, but I would like environmental sounds coming from the environment, you could make them client side operated with the risk of someone being near you and looping some crazy bird sounds, which they could do through direct anyway. -

I would like sort of underground things. You can play mods and stuff, but unless you deactivate them all or something you can't join regular hosted Chernarus plus servers, would that keep security up while also allowing a mod community to thrive? Ofcourse these mod servers would be less secure though. A mod manager could be added. -
