You want something that conducts heat well.Like a piece of steel, the steam would condense quickly on that. Or a shard of glass/ a mirror. A knife might be the most handy to a survivor. -

The idea about that fully customised M4 though is, what would stop somebody IRL from taking off your grips, your sights, your stock, your silencer and leaving the receiver intact?I would like camps to be less of places you go hunting for to loot and more places to sit down with a stranger instead of shooting them before they get near. So I would back any realistic way of preserving loot like the gun lock you suggested. Safes, with realistic inventory space. Stashes from the mod, but they should be very hard to make to minimise hoarding which makes loosing gear not matter. -

I'm pretty hillbilly, i have a air rifle above my bed ontop of curtains.People come into my room and they could've been in here a couple hours, giggidy. They never seem to notice my air rifle and scope just sitting above the curtains. I took it out the other day and was shooting out the window at shit in the garden. Couldn't do that in town though, you would get some panicky person call the police when they see a .177 air rifle. Still video games, movies, spend 20 minutes with a gun pushing buttons and you should know a bit about it. -

Who would struggle to load and zero a rifle? Zeroing a rifle is common knowledge, people may struggle to load guns they're unfamiliar with but zeroing the sights is just common knowledge. -
Lol.It spun out and had person eyes. Thats one scary horse. I imagine in SA they'll be implemented a bit better than a retextured motorbike though.

Id like things like that to affect your guns statistics in certain ways.Like the weight on the end of your gun will reduce recoil, but it will also make your gun a bit harder to hold steady (more sway) -

Why not make your own shop? Give players bullets in trade for food.Get more bullets when you sell that food. At the end of the day you will have enough bullets and food as any of the scavengers that went past combined. -

Okay, here's what I mean. You say colour defines height... Why can't you just edit the colour of a few pixels, wibbity bam there's your hole. Can the image file not be edited? Is the editing of this file so super taxing that it just cannot be done? -

I think they should use the TKoH flying, a lot of people (including me) never played the game, people may learn watch tutorials and since its realistic in its controls if you find out you actually know how to IRL.Ofcourse many choppers may have slight differences in controls, but I'm sure for simplicity they're all pretty much the same with heavy choppers having more complications. Besides, who has time to read a friggin manual in the air?

this is a shared opinion, so many people just want it out.Alpha is to be knowing what your signing up for. I would definitely play it if I might occasionally lose items for whatever reason, or die because of a bug. That's just alpha, I can't say it isn't going to be annoying/ upset me at times. But at the end of the day I'm a tester and this is my punishment for having no patience. He clears intends to fix this double character bug though. -

I struggle to zero my air rifle, I'm gonna have to pick a spot where I know it won't move.Yesterday I was shooting from the top story window at birds in the garden and I got it almost hitting a marker stick at 25m so that's probably alright for now. I did it by just looking at the symmetry of my back sights to the front though, trying to keep my head straight. Better than trying to keep my gun in the exact same spot while adjusting sights.

I really do think, after the most of the bugs such as doppelgänger and maybe item disappearance, duplication aswell as big bugs that stem from that we may have a stable enough platform for a good alpha. And you can tell from the way that Rocket is talking that he thinks it is high time for the alpher aswell. -

^was just about to suggest a spud gun. Me and my Brother made one, he made this friggin deadly looking slug out of a bolt and glue gun glue. Our one uses an old fridge compressor, metal pluming pipes and a ball valve or something for air pressure, but you could use gas cooker canisters or maybe deodorant cans(somehow). You could literally fire anything from them. Edit: sorry didn't read all your post, I was talking about CO2 / air pressure ones. The flammable ones are pretty cool, we had one of them before the compressed air one, the lighter stopped working though. We had a little arc going and deodorant went up. -

Seriously there's a thread down the page about this.I think gun iron sights should be the norm we see now, zeroed to about 100m on the mark when you first pick em up. When you find a new sight and want to put it on your gun you should have to shoot it at what you think is an appropriate range and align your new sights to hit right where the bullet left a mark. Maybe there could be a test range with barrels at certain ranges so you could zero your sights at known ranges, let's say you want to zero an acog sight and you wanna zero it so that the 400, 500, 600 and so metre markings work correctly.
