Err but the problem with randomly generated backstory is you get people trying to kill & respawn to get the ones they want. -

The character wipes aren't all that helpful for caring about longevity at this time. But, I agree with the beard mostly. I suppose 'some' skills might be okay. But not by reading them, and not by sitting afk for ages, you should have to be doing them. Other things are already in place, spawning hungry, blood type(do you know it?), How far north you are (there's much more value up North, why bother running back?) That one about the North for me is one reason why I think they gotta tone down Balota airfields spawning somehow. I caught it on a good day and I have endgame loot in ten minutes, meanwhile my first survivor took 6 hours to get similar non military stuff. -

100% of players that responded to me have been after my beans. The first I saw was trying to drink from a well before it was fixed :) I said hello but he must've gone afk looking for the solution.

I want to explore the wonderful world of these gas powered thingies. I lost my gas stove before I was wiped. Maybe I will have better luck this life.

Unfortunately the only two players I've interacted with other than people that didn't see/ talk back to me have been two guys at balota trying to pound me to death with shovels. However, thanks to the new loot rarity (which I love) you are more likely to get an attempted shovelling than a shooting. Feels much more real and brutal than the mod.

Definitely disliking the lack of zombies most of anything. But that is a small impurity on the otherwise well rounded and relatively stable Alpha I have happily invested in. As server optimisation goes up I will be expecting more zombies :) Couldn't really have asked for much more, people complaining really need to know what they sign up for. -

Some people hate the idea of teaming up with strangers. I don't mind it... but still they have more to gain by just shooting me and that's all that bothers me. Maybe Morale could be gained by resting/ sitting near fires/ reading books for the lone survivor. If it isn't hard to implement, this is still alpha and it never really has been tested properly. -
Then this is very strange, two alone should do it...I'm definitely thinking bug. Maybe the servers dropped below 10 frames and it just isn't picking up that you're eating food? I couldn't say. But, don't get too attached to your gear/ life anyway this is alpha where we are faced with mass genocide by Rocket at the push of a button. And at any point you may fall into a wall or some crap.

Er, there was a full character wipe for everybody in the latest update. First one might've been that, second one may have been a bug. I wasn't notified if there is a server hopping penalty. -
Yep, tied to your steam account and hive. Maybe IP, but I'm pretty sure it isn't anymore.

From my experience the full notifications come a while after the inventory signals have disappeared.

As long as you aren't getting stuffed, or puke messages it might be a bug. Do your part for the development and eat a but more to test it. Keep in mind, dry food can drain hydration levels.

Yes, Rocket needed to remove any spawned items after he closed the gate hackers have been using or soemthing.
