We don't want giant four lane highways, there's no where near a 100th of enough people for that shit around. I do like the idea for the airplane graveyard, broken bridge to Utes, mining area, radio station and rivers though. Also a few mining tunnels and natural caves would be awesome.

If we see that I would want it to be counter able, or else you would get a squad of invulnerable people running people geared top to tail over and then stealing their loot.That's the problem, anything even remotely safe/ powerful needs to be counterable, at which point you have RPG's spawning a little too often, I think it is too early to say what sort of vehicles we should get, but anything without guns and with light enough armour is pretty safe. I wouldn't like to put anything out of the picture but I think AA guns and stuff would definitely be silly considering there are no attack helicopters. If we do get anything with a mounted gun, it should have very rare ammo anyway. Makerov is all good :) SVD and all the assault rifles/ carbines are fine to be rare. The PKM though, needs to be very rare. Balaclavas would be awesome. If you REALLY want armoured up vehicles you should try some normal Arma 2/ Arma 3, both very good games on their own. -
You can't really spot a bandit they look just like everybody else 90% of the time, what you're saying is hide/ shoot people everytime, which is not the point at which DayZ sets out to do.It is about having fun and crazy player interactions with me, getting progressively better at the game and trying to help people at which you are creating more fun player interactions, some may shoot, but that's all part of the fun.

I find leather shoes in houses all the time, but rify is NOT crap! It is an awesome sight.People forget that dayZ isn't meant to be fun at the moment, it is just a testing stage for development.

I want to see them use stuff from the Arma command system. E.g Hold fire (bark & bite, follow, move to, wait, attack, mark players as friend? Your dog will follow your friends upon your demise. Find food, find people. If it disobeys you or completes the task wrong you can say No/ Bad dog to decrease his potential of error next time. Companion animals should log out with you so some random guy doesn't stroll past and kill him for food.

Well, you can't be sure that direct chat is always working. I've had two people walk me down saying nothing and as I turn and run they just gun me down. You have to communicate right to them, if you're a good communicator, make your intentions very clear. Say, "I don't want either of us to be hurt, if you put up your hands Or drop everything on the ground I can come and look at it, take what I want and leave you with what I didn't need and possibly something extra if you need it badly." If you remain vague about your intentions "put your hands up" ofcourse they're not going to trust you. People know what many people do to handcuffed victims and it is constantly going through their mind when the situations arises. -

Never fire unless fired upon, that doesn't mean I don't go up and talk to players with guns though I will still usually hide. -
I agree, especially with that last part.Camps and stuff need some significance past loot storage, perhaps getting rid of loot storage altogether? I doubt they will, but I would like to cut down the hoarding to just 1-2 good guns and ammo maybe a few medical supplies. We need a place to modify gear and maybe reload ammo, definitely cook food over a permanent surrounded stone fire pit.

I would choose .357 for its 1HK ability. To me you either have to go Mosin and FNX or M4 and .357 to give yourself the best range of weaponry. -

I think melee needs to be more random.It's hard to speculate how much damage melee weapons do, I guess in most cases you're doing more damage than you think you are. I wouldn't mind seeing more breakable bones at which melee weapons could specialise in doing,

This is what dayZ needs in my opinion. Any realistic weapon handling elements are needed to make dayZ as expansive and as sandboxy as possible.

I play first person only anyway.I always notice the YOU ARE BLEEDING Even then I have a bleeding indicator in the inventory.

Why is the goal; servers able to support 150 players?

I think what 150 players would mean is... That the survivor is brought out in more people. Some people stay in groups others go lonesome. People don't bother shooting as they just attract attention to themselves as hostile and also well geared. Where as someone that stands out of the way like a stray dog and speaks only when spoken to would have the best chance of survival. Bandits are rarer, but also very feared for their skills (what?), yes with so many players roaming around you can't be wasteful of ammo a missed shot is one more person that could get close to them around a big town. -
Gotta say that I personally play first person only. Although, I find role play and stuff much funnier in third person where you can see what you yourself and others are doing around you. I usually say just use your inventory screen to see your character, but in many cases the only time you want to see your character is when they're doing something and not standing there idle. This is a good fix that works 100% against those that wish to exploit the you can't see me type of third person. But it doesn't ruin the experience for the very very large portion of the community that enjoys seeing their character in their natural environment. By all means keep first person only, but this feature is a must for third person. People that think third person is fine the way it is to me must be exploiting the current third person a bit, I encourage them to try a bit of first person only.
