Newspaper contains lots of information about zombies/ community warnings, biography of zombies on front page of every newspaper after outbreak, the later the copy the rarer it is but it also contains more recent and correct information. Roll newspaper up as a joke zero damage weapon. Cut eye holes in newspaper to be sneaky observer. Books explaining medicine/ first aid, chopper controls, basic mechanical knowledge and stuff so that we can have realistic mini games and controls that will improve our real life knowledge while making us better at dayZ. Burning books to stay warm, ripping books into scrap paper which could be used in sound suppressor or something. Phonebook putting residents to addresses. BIG BOOKS 2x2 cut it open and you can hide the little egg timer IED in there, or a handgun for the sneaky kind of player.

I just saw this on reddit. As I said over there, needs working into a notebook. Notebook would be readable by other players when you're tied up and offer information about what sort of player you are. When they die you should be able to take it, have a small collection. Take things from your mind... Stick in in your notebook (locations, co-ordinates, the contacts) Some things should instantly be there like player kills and how much you've helped people. Things like polaroid pictures would be cool to stick in there. Can rip paper/ pages from it to write notes too.

I like the gun, knew there would be Gews so I went ahead and voted yes. It should either have some backstory or be stupidly rare (enough so it might not be in untill full game is out?)

There needs to be a few more masks, and they need to be very rare. Like mtn dew or a ghillie suit x10

I think a lot of people probably get wound up by bandits yes. But, if they were to continue going around hacking, then they're probably just dicks. I guess when you hack you would either loose interest in the game as it is no longer a challenge/ enjoy being a complete douche and continue to ruin peoples game. I've met a so called friendly hacker, he spawned me a Heli. I wasn't too worried because it was my friends server, but basically I flew around with him and then got a free SUV. The server was later hackbombed and my friend never tried to run a server again. But I suppose that hacker #1 thought himself a man of justice. In my opinion hackers just need to be banned and have their steam copy revoked. That is the most you can really do about hackers, they also need to find any advertised hacks possibly have the forum team here be able to receive links and get them right to the dayZ team.

If they can be almost as good as red dead horses. Assassins creed 3 horses after red dead redemption were even worse, dayZ doesn't need something big and dumb that looks like crap. If it can be done right, then it shall be done. That's why I voted half & half.
