I helped out a noob once, flew him round heli crashes to get geared up. He got pretty well kitted out, ghillie and a m24 along with a few items like nvgs etc. I said he has enough to make it by himself so we went our seperate ways, about an hour later I was leaving base to go help someone else (My base is above Pobeda dam so its pretty much an untravvled path) and this guy says over side chat 'Hey Mitch, I see you in the heli! He was 500m from base. I thought what the fuck? Why is this guy way out here?!?! So I said to him, 'Hey man, I'll come down and pick you up" Meanwhile I was talking to a squad member in TeamSpeak, I said to him 'As soon as I go prone, shoot this guy'. I blood bagged the guy then went prone, 3 dmr shots from my mate rang out amongst the silence and the kill message showed up on screen. I waited till the next kill message came up and I said I killed the guy who died and blamed him for being a sniper! I then took the noobs gear back to him on the coast and took him up to NWAF, me and my mate both felt really bad for doing what we did. You have to protect your stuff at all costs though!

I reckon a car that uses less fuel than a normal car would be a great addition, like those mitsubishi icar things, I'd love to be able to go on long trips without having to take spare jerry cans with me!

What would you trade for a l85a2 holo?

Forgot to add, 22LR's normally have a 10 shot mag. But it is possible to get drum mags that hold 30 rounds. And also, another suggestion... With the new crafting system, it would be cool to be able to tape 2 mags together, so when one is empty you just pull it out, and stick the other mag in a 1 quick movement, me and dad do this when we are hunting farms with a high rabbit population, it is so much faster than getting another mag out of your pocket/bag

Civilian style weapons! I go hunting and my family has around 12 guns, from 22LR's to a 270WSM. You could find a civilian weapon just as the bare rifle with open sights and one 3-5 mag, then find scopes, bipods, suppressors etc. If the rifle was found in a hunting families home then it could come with a scope and bipod already, and maybe a suppressor if you're lucky. i think make these type of weapons readily available like military grade weapons are in the mod, and make the military weapons a hell of a lot rarer.

This happened just last week... I raided NEAF, found myself some sort of silenced M4/M1? Anyway, I took a few shots and was low on blood, so I decided to head down to the Berezino hospital. Got a few blood bags, antibiotics and heaps of bandages, as a I made my way out I was taking fire from a sniper, he took something like 5 shots and only hit me on one! I had a rough idea of where he was so I pretended to drive away in my Ural, but I stopped 1000m out of Berezino. I flanked all the way round, I was about 200m from his estimated location... And I seen him, running straight towards me! So I proned in a pine tree to try ambush him when he runs past, he got within less than 10m of me then BOOM, he dropped dead. But not from my gun, a ghillie suited fella walked out of a bush about 50m away. Somehow he hadn't seen me trying to flank the sniper, while he was busy looting the body I told him in direct com 'I see you in the ghillie suit mate, if you make one move I will kill you. Drop your weapons now!' He did as I said, but I was so excited about getting the dead guys M24 I forgot about the ghillie's backpack. I turned around to make sure he was still where I told him, but he was no where to be seen. Thats when it hit 'Shit, Im gonna die'. I ran into a pine tree, but this time I didnt prone in the one I first went in to, I ran down 2 or 3 trees. I sat there for 10 minutes, and then what do I see trying to flank me? The ghillie! Sure enough, he's got a AKM, He thought I was in the first pine tree, he crouched behind a bush ready for me to come out and smash me in the face. But no, 2 swift stanag sd rounds to the head and he was a goner! I helped myself to both players loot, M24 with 5 mags, M9sd with 4 mags, a ghillie suit, GPS and another 6 stanag mags! I have no idea why he was carrying stanag sd when he didnt even have a silinced gun? To date, that is my most exciting moment and kill in DayZ :)

I think 1 or 2 big rivers running from the far edge of the map all the way down to the sea would add a really cool element to the game, you could make it so you can take smaller boats like the pbx and speed boat up river. Your guys thoughts on this?

Didnt rocket want to add a suicide function to the game? Taking a course of pills is a great idea but if suicide is a possibility then you could take more than 1 at a time. Not for medical reasons obviously, but to overdose.

As I said, it would have to follow the valleys. Although even the valleys arnt flat are they ! What about a large lake then? But not a circle lake, a lake like this Notice how I avoided hills this time? ;)

Ok, maybe not a river. What about a canal? It would have to follow the valleys obviously, so its at sea level. Something along these lines Wouldnt be as wide as this, I made it wide so its obvious where it is. Imagine the possibilities with boats!

I'm looking for a group of guys to play in ANZ#1 with, I'm already playing with a guy called Adolf Hipster but only being two of us its pretty hard to get going. Anyone want to team up? Preferably relatively experienced players

I've only been playing for 2 weeks but Im already a bandit. At first I thought I'd be the good guy, running round the hills of Elektro and Cherno taking out bandits, I gave this a try for 2-3 days and I loved killing those bandits! I however had been killed multiple times myself for telling other survivors I was friendly, so I gave up on the good guy status, for the simple fact I was tired of being shot on site or killed from behind by a so called 'friendly'. I set off north with my trusty bicycle to NWAF, on the way there I came across a heli crash which presented me with a MK 48 Mod 0. After seeing many videos about how NWAF is so dangerous I decided to change course to NEAF since I now had a military grade weapon. Once at NEAF I sat on the treeline on the hill above the airfield, directly below me about 600m down was a little bird, accompanied by a single player, kitted out with a ghillie suit, DMR and a coyote pack. I slowly made my way down to the bird hoping I could steal it without having to engage in a fire fight. Upon reaching my target, said player finished his raid of the airfield and started heading back to his little bird, panicing becuase of my noobness and not knowing how to handle the situation I simply lay down prone on the right side of the heli hoping he would get in the left. To my luck he did! He started up the engine, completely unaware of me proning a few feet away from him. I swiftly stood up, unloaded multiple MK 48 rounds into his chest and took him down. I took his DMR and Coyote pack and made my way back down to the coast, to search for more kills. Being stealthy and surprising my target like that gave me a real rush and I haven't stopped killing since! I do leave fresh spawns and unarmed players though, I believe there is no need to shoot someone who is not a threat to me.
