hi Guys not sure if this has been asked before .. First i have had a Vilayer server now for 2 weeks and has be running fine ... easy Admin so easy to update ... A few thing i wanted to know , is there anything else we can run from the server to protect our self as much as we can from hackers .. also i have noticed that there are some tents on our server .. i have destroyed them a few times but after a restart the are there again with all the stuff back in them plus since our server has been running all the weather i get is Rain and foggy ?? never a clear day .. is there somewhere to set that up or am i just stuck with this? Hi guys Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem ... i have set our server up to do a scheduled restart. Pri to this i have been just using the Restart button on the tcadmin control page and it has been saving tents and gear ... Now after the first scheduled restart it has cleared everything out ... any ideas or am i doing something wrong please help Thank you PainKiller Admin AU43

No the tents had all gone only 3 of them .... I just did a manual restart and now they are back ???? this is strange, is it saved on the server or on the hive? if so how do you do a complete restart of a server so it is clean again, and wont return with just a normal restart I cant work it out -
Hi sorry to ask this here but seemed as good a place as any... I have just got a DayZ server from vilayer.com . Do i have to do anything on the DayZ forums to get this going as i try to join and it says Wait For Host ?? i have ran all the updates... and restarted the server in DayZCommander keeps coming up to say Not Playing- This server has just been restarted or is not in a state to allow you to play ??? Anyone help please Thank you PainKiller

Hi guys Just a Questions in relation to having our own server , We have noticed a big influx of hackers coming onto the gaming servers lately , and quite frankly it is getting very annoying.. we manly play on US 1031 witch up until the last few days, has been a very good home for myself and a few good mates.. Now what i would like to know is if we get our own server what means do we have to tell if someone is hacking if we can't see the player in front of us, and they are spawning in Cars, helicopters, boats and so on ? is there a log we can look at and then confirm this before we kick /ban ?? cheers ubik.PainKiller

Why can't we have control over who we kick? even if it is a wrong kicking , still keeps the game safe and the people who rent a server is not wasting there money to support the hackers , instead of supporting the people who run the servers .... Or are the developers just using our good money to be the testing field for the hackers ? -

So if Hacking has become out of control and Battleye is not getting on top of it with Rocket, then we should be able to kick/ban to protect the game and make it a more enjoyable experience for the old players and the new players starting to play ... other wise no one will want to play the game even when it goes standalone.. because you don't have the right to protect the common gamer from hackers :( Please don't Flame me i no this is still a Alpha and a good one at that -

Thanks for your input ... with all the guys i play with 90% of the time there would be an admin on to control this issue ... just trying to see if it would be worth having our own server or still just continue to play on other servers. Love the game , and we just want to try and have a fair playing ground . I no its hard trying to keep ontop of hacking but if we can do so by having our own server we may have to look into it ... Thanks for your input -

I am having the same issue .... When at the NWA and at Balota AF I have never had this happen until the Beta/Dayz update today Unplayable near any Air Field or Tents OS Win7 64bit CPU INTEL CORE i7 3770K 3.50Ghz Max Turbo Frequency 3.90Ghz 8MB CACHE 95W LGA1155 16 gig ram Corsair ATI x2 7970 3gig running ATI crossfire Corsair SSD Drives GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H Intel Z77 Intergrated Video HDMI / DP / DVI / D-Sub X-Fi Xtreme Audio Please fix so i can kill you all .... :) Not really I'm Friendly cheers Painy
